one of my aunts has very openly declared that this year she will not be buying any christmas gifts for anyone outside of her household and thus also doesnt expect to recieve any gifts in return. and i guess this has caused controversy in the family but idfk why, christmas is expensive? she was open about it? would u rather your relative go broke getting you gifts you probably dont even really want. kinda ridiculous expectation tbh.
