"Listen, you sit here and bleed, or you trust me."
The pirate had been in much worse situations but that didn’t mean that this was good by any means. A few bullet holes here and there wasn’t enough to outright kill him but it’s not like he really felt the damage to know if there was anything worse. His green eyes narrowed and he spat blood at the man’s feet. “Why should I fucking trust you, huh?”
“Hola! I am back from vacation. Someone apparently thought I needed one for my uh…..mental fucking health. Do not worry friends, I am more than ready to get back to my island and go hunting again. Feel free to come visit if you feel fucking adventurous, we would love to have you for dinner.”
🔪
“How the fuck did you even get here?” Blood dripping down his face onto the sand of the beach as he looks up, then looks back down at the lifeless body and kicks it. “You come here with this one?”
Once he was far enough away he broke out into a run. A plan already forming to make her miserable but to see how strong she really was. He would have his men scatter across the area throughout the night and let off a single shot into the air. The dogs were a bluff since he wanted to hunt her himself. It was already starting to get dark and he wanted to make it close enough back to base before the big predators came out to play, hoping that she was smart enough to survive those.

Does the mun have other muses? (I know the answer)
And what do you think of them?
“They do actually. Lots of them. They’re not terrible, just not who I would normally associate with.” He chuckled, “some need to grow a backbone but they would do well to learn survival shit on my island.”
“YOU CAN ROLL YOUR EYES AND BE SARCASTIC ALL YOU WANT, BUT YOU ARE STILL COMMITTING A CRIME!” The tall, dreadlocked Goth accused from the balcony, glowing blue eyes full of laughter.
Caliber never meant it when he teased the pirate king, but sometimes he wasn’t sure if Vaas was aware of that.
The pirate king smirked as he turned around. "Oh yeah, and who's going to fucking tell on me here? You?" A chuckle escaped him as he took out a cigar and lit it, knowing that the other wasn't going to do anything about it. He may be bigger than him, but Vaas knew that he could slip away if needed.
"Why would you want to eat and be slowed down all day when you can just eat after and crash out?" He puffed on his cigar as he waited for the other to be on the ground before starting to walk. "I don't know yet, hunting sounds fun. We haven't done that in a while and my boys are getting restless." He walked past makeshift cages that held tourists and he taunted them a little as he made his way to the central building of his compound. "Might be some good exercise, but you'd have to stay with me. You can't just go catch everyone by yourself, it takes the fucking fun out of it."
Caliber slowed his stride to keep pace with Vaas.
“I don’t like hunting hungry, but then, I use more energy so I like to eat.” He shrugged, leering at a few of the tourists who cringed away, calling him the devil, or a monster.
“Maybe we do need a good hunt. Get all the restless energy out.”
He rolled his eyes and shook his head as he headed up the steps to the central hub, the music getting louder and his men sitting around sharpening knives or reloading guns. “Did you already cook, or do you want to snack while we’re hunting?” Vaas wasn’t against eating fresh meat as he’d done so for years, cooking was just a bonus if he had the time or energy.
One of the men, Carlos, laid out a map in front of them and pointed out an area they hadn’t been to as much. “Maybe you’d like to hunt here this time. Plenty of places to run and hide so it would be a challenge but more mentally stimulating.” Carlos was Vaas’s right hand when it came to daily decisions. Being the most educated of the group, it wasn’t a hard choice to keep him close.

“How the fuck did you even get here?” Blood dripping down his face onto the sand of the beach as he looks up, then looks back down at the lifeless body and kicks it. “You come here with this one?”
It wasn't long before he heard her take off again and he just laughed and took off running again, he didn't want this game to end too quickly so he figured she would have to rest now and then because the average person couldn't run like he could. Eventually he heard the running stop and that's when he knew she either stopped again or found something to climb. Just for good measure, he took out his gun and fired a single shot into the air away from trees. Enough to scare her a little. "That's alright, I'm going to get the dogs and they'll be able to sniff you out. They can run faster than I can!" He laughed as he turned around and started walking carefully away as to not give away his position. He wanted that fear to stay for as long as possible.
🔪
Vaas was finishing up with his latest victim, some movie star that he'd buried in sand just to play around with. He had finally succumbed to the harsh elements and abuse. Bandaged hands were pulling sand closer to finish burying the head that was sticking out. "Such a fucking shame, I wasn't done playing yet." He hadn't even noticed that he wasn't alone on the beach yet.
At the mention of his boss, Vaas lowered his gun and put it away. Raising an arm back toward his men to do the same. "I see. You're here for him. You're lucky hermano, a pretty boy like you wouldn't last long on the island under normal circumstances." He looked around at the ground and made sure he wasn't leaving anything behind before he turned and pointed to a hill in the distance, "he lives up there. If he knows you're coming he'll send his boys to come get you or you can go to him, dealer's choice." The pirate turned around and started to head back toward the trees, intending to go back to his camp since his playtime was over.
🔪
“How the fuck did you even get here?” Blood dripping down his face onto the sand of the beach as he looks up, then looks back down at the lifeless body and kicks it. “You come here with this one?”
"I can see you! You can't hide from me!" Of course he stayed back enough to where he didn't exactly know if or where she'd ducked behind, but he knew that he had a very strong bluff and could hopefully make her think that he knew where she was and what she was doing. He'd done this enough times to know how people usually thought when it came to his version of hide and seek.

At this point, Vaas wasn't even trying. He made sure to keep his distance at least enough to keep her running. This was just a game to him after all and he wanted to keep playing for as long as possible. Even if that meant chasing her to a very remote location and leaving her for the night just to see where she would end up in the morning. His guards would mean that he didn't have to worry about her sneaking into his base. Though he did carry a horn with him just for hunts that he took out and blew into it, causing an eerie noise that would alert not only his men but also wildlife that the hunt was on. "You can't run forever!"
Harley’s breath came in short gasps, trying to keep herself going as the jungle seemed to grow thicker with each step. The sound of whatever he blew into sent goosebumps along her arms and neck, making her feel more like prey than before. He sounded closer than he probably was, but his voice spurred her on to keep running. She did grin at his taunt though she kept her eyes forward. There was no way she was going to look back and risk falling.
The most interesting thing about Vaas and the jungle was that he knew how to seem like he was everywhere all at once and how to make his voice echo. "You can run, but you can't hide!" He couldn't hide how much fun he was having as he chased her deeper into the foliage and further away from the beaches. Getting her to one of his favorite hunting grounds that she would be lucky to find her way out of alone.

"Watched the torture livestream. Absolute cinema, my boy! Shame about poor whatever-the fuck-his-name-was though..Maclaren..? Mcdonalds? Macintosh? Oh well, doesn't matter now that he's dead now does it?"
The sudden voice caused him to jump and quickly pull out his gun to aim in the direction of whoever spoke. "What the fuck are you doing on my island?" He completely ignored what the other had said and focused more on the fact that if he had been here and went unnoticed, there may be others there as well. Vaas let out a low whistle that signaled his men to step forward out of the forest with guns aimed at the man.

Vaas yelled and screamed as he took off after her, this was the most fun he has on the island. Hunting is a tradition that he and his men kept for all these years. Though he wouldn't be calling them in just yet, he wanted to give chase for a while himself to see if he could catch up to her and just to mess with her. In addition to himself and his men, there were plenty of other dangerous creatures on the island that she could run into and he was interested in seeing how she handled wildlife.
“YOU CAN ROLL YOUR EYES AND BE SARCASTIC ALL YOU WANT, BUT YOU ARE STILL COMMITTING A CRIME!” The tall, dreadlocked Goth accused from the balcony, glowing blue eyes full of laughter.

“If you like breathing, you might want to fix this.” Rory indicated the bloody knife wound in Vaas’ side.
The lanky, scarlet-haired EMT had washed up on shore with his gear, in the middle of a skirmish.
He didn’t seem the least bit concerned over the fact he had three bullet holes in his own chest, however.
"If you value your life, you'll get off my island." The pirate spat blood onto the already stained sand. Every so often, a group of raiders thinking they can be real pirates show up on the island to try and take what Vaas had worked his whole life for. His men finished off the last of them. Truthfully, he didn't even feel his wounds. He never did.
His breathing was heavier and his pupils taking away what color had been in his eyes for the moment but what do you expect with his sort of lifestyle. It took him a few moments before looking at the person that had spoken to him. "Who the hell are you?"
@real-pirate-king
“I don’t think I can leave. Boat sank, and I can only swim so far….” He shrugged. “Repeatedly drowning is not any fun.” He chuckled, offering a hand, lime green eyes sparkling.
“I’m Riordan Robertson, but most call me Rory. I’m a doctor. So…you want me to fix the hole in your side, or no?”
This still didn’t address how he was still standing and talking to Vaas with three definite killing shots in his chest…but he didn’t seem to notice them either.
Vaas ignored the offered hand and put his gun away before using his shirt to wipe blood off his face. He glared at the man and finally noticed the bullet wounds, the mention of repeatedly drowning registering. "So what, you're some immortal thing or something?" This would seem completely impossible if he hadn't seen what his sister was capable of before they parted ways. He now believed in some impossible things.
At the mention of his own wound, he looked down and pulled his shirt up to look at it. It didn't seem fatal and he took a deep breath in to check for damage. There was possibly a small puncture but he'd survived worse. "I can stitch myself up." He didn't like relying on someone else for help, people couldn't be trusted. Though he was in no shape to get into another fight right now. "Just stay the fuck away from us and maybe we won't kill you yet."

“Nah, but it’s no fun when I don’t get a chance to play too, were you just going to sneak off and let me oversleep?”
He crossed his arms and mock-pouted.
“At least come back for breakfast. Crime is easier when you don’t have an empty stomach. I’ll make you something yummy.”
"Well if you want to come with me, fucking come on then. Nobody said that you couldn't do anything." He smirked and blew out a cloud of smoke up toward the now pouting man. "Unless you want to be a housewife and cook and clean while I'm gone." Though he was joking, trying to see what would get a rise out of him. Vaas had already been drinking today so he was in a good mood right now.

This time he ignored what she said because it didn't seem important to him right now, what he was more focused on was that she took more steps away and then she started walking quickly. That was all it took before Vaas started laughing and began giving chase. This was the game that he wanted, stalking someone like they were his prey and hunting them down. At this point it had become a past time for him and his men and this little lady looked like she wouldn't be taken that easily.
