Summary of: Day 38

I spent a lot more of my day today "getting my life back together".

There is proof in my life that no matter how far I've been kicked down as I'm clawing my way up my life, I will always end up progressing further than I regress.

It's similar to the excrement I rocket at my enemies, my boulders. They roll, and roll and roll. They are being worn down by rolling, deviating and hitting devastating bumps, but they are always stronger as they go, picking up more dirt as it goes. And it will always achieve it's goal.

Hopefully I can hold onto it and this whole conversation into tomorrow, and all the 'present's after that.

Summary of: Day 36

The session was great! Nova enjoyed it a lot (and despite being a bit tedious) it was an overall fun session lasting 5 hours! Here are the puzzles:

Soulbound: a steam pipe path, another room with the path, but the room with the path is slightly smaller so it’s hard to walk the path correctly to translate.

Password Cracking: Straight up fallout hacking

Lock-picking: Game of Mastermind (roll 4 d6 for the code, # instead of colours, 10 tries) 

5 switches (No. 5 needs to be up, all the rest need to drop) one separated on the right that drops all the other switches. Only opens when all other puzzles are complete.

A room filled with armour with quality dropped to 0 (unusable) from age. There is a bronze pedestal in the centre of the room, with a plaque saying “The hand of the victor opens the door”. On either side of the pedestal are 2 rings of light (5sq diameter) and in the centre of these rings are stationary clockwork display “arms” holding gauntlets engraved with a thin red gem. It’s glowing. Upon entering one of the circles, the display arms present the gauntlets to the bug, getting more and more aggressive until they put it on. Once a gauntlet is placed on, more clockwork arms erupt from behind the infinite armour racks, entrapping the bug in unmoving armour (at least it’s high quality though!) until the other bug bears the other gauntlet. The same thing happens to the other, but they are freed. Suddenly, armours from the walls come “alive” and step out. Now one must be a victor, of any kind, in any combat or game.

btw this is for the unofficial hollow knight RPG, as seen by the existence of soul-bound, but other than that, yeah!

Summary of: Day 35

In preparation for the TTRPG session tomorrow, I made up some puzzles! I was going to test them out on Nova, but she said that she wanted to join! I am so excited! I don't really want to post them here until tomorrow, lest one of my players stumble upon them, however I just wanted to express my excitement, for there is very little else for me to report for today.

Once again did I indulge in existentialism today. The fine works of Samuel Beckett, especially his play 'Quad' do such a good job in explaining life and existence down the the minutia without any sense of "logical" plot nor dialogue.

I also don't remember how I know that, I think Nova got so close to me that I blacked out and astral projected into a plane I shouldm't have experienced.
