So I was dating an older man, and then he told me he was scared of commitment and scared to introduce me to his kids because I’m around the same age as them. He told me if only I was turning 47 instead of 27 maybe we could’ve made things work... We hung out 3-5 days a week, and talked everyday on the phone or FaceTime when we weren’t with each other, we said goodbye almost two weeks ago now, (he had to go back home he was in my city for the last year almost) and we have had no contact whatsoever, this is so painful, something I’ve never experienced this before, someone just cutting it off and never hearing from them again, I ALWAYS hear from men again they never fully leave, never. I’m not one to chase so I let them go and they always come back and then I’m like nope you blew it I got over you. I still haven’t gotten over him because I feel like it ended too soon and everything was perfect besides the 27 year age gap. This has been the hardest thing ever, we got so close and this was the closest thing to a relationship I’ve had in 10 years... Any advice from anyone? Any thoughts? Anything to help me feel better...

I've really learned so much through animals. Life changes so fast and horrible things can happen but it's all apart of life, you gotta take the good with the bad and keep smiling. This girl has been through so much and she's still smiling. My 8 year old golden baby 💗 She's happy everyday still even though her face no longer golden but is white, the muscles in her face are now nonexistent from her autoimmune disorder, her hips are bad & she's had cancerous masses on her body removed but she's still a happy go lucky live in the moment type of girl. I love you my Daisy Mae my first baby, the one who inspired me to rescue animals and to never buy a purebred again. A lot of the time I talk down my accomplishments and don't like to brag. But if I'm not proud who will be? I'm lacking self confidence and that right there is exactly why. I've conditioned myself to not be proud or happy for myself. I take things with a grain of salt. I think yeah okay anybody could've done this I'm nothing special. Today I've decided to stop that and encourage you to stop it too! Be proud! Be happy for yourself! So many humans are hateful. So many humans are lazy. You're not one of them, you're beating the odds and doing something with yourself. So celebrate. Celebrate every single tiny accomplishment. You got out of bed today and tried!
