Your blog confuses me 😂
Baby, in what way?
Did you wish I was a real person instead of a doll in my pictures? Or do you think I’m posting wacky things with no purpose ?
Well, I’m neither.
Almost four years ago I began this blog because I saw all the doll people having fun showing off their HUGE doll collections. At the time I had been collecting as an adult for four years and I had a few myself (not as many though😉). While I wanted to share my pictures too, I also wanted to do it in a more mature way with my dark sense of humor as a contrast to doll community shenanigans, where everything was pretty, perfect and pink (I do love me some pink by the way💖). So I began taking my pictures and I began adding funky and spunky quotes that (usually) had little to do with the image. Eventually I realized I could make people smile or laugh or even think about more serious topics in a lighter tone (while being super respectful by the way), so I got a bit more confident and hopeful in what I began posting! I mean I’ve also made mistakes and a whole chunk of my picture gallery took a hit from the great Tumblr cull of December 2018😭. I was a 21 year old when I began this blog and my purpose has never been to make insensitive posts or to harm other with my pictures. I just wanted to go back to my childhood when I used to play Barbies with my sister and I would come up with these hilarious telenovelas with her dolls. That is the kind of feeling I wanted to capture with all my pictures, a children’s toy with the perplexities of being an adult.
This has been my TEDTalk, I wish this answer has been helpful to you ❤️
If not ask away, I love to talk and write about myself (it seems😉) and I’ll try to answer!
