I really love ur webtoon gold and rubies. it's genuinely one of my favourite webtoons. I've been following that webtoon since 2024 and it's been in my top 10 since.

I just wanted to ask if you plan on coming back and continuing it because it's such an interesting isekai concept. I've never seen a concept where the main character is a side character(like a side side character not just like a maid or smthn) who gets with the villain. I was really invested in it so when I saw you were gonna make a re-make I was so happy.

I know you're a medical student so I understand the long hiatus. I also know that studying medicine takes a while. but the last time you posted was in 2024 and this also applies to your other webtoon, what's his deal. so i just wanted to know if you plan on coming back to add some more in the future, near or far.

you were just at the bit where we were about to meet the real main character of the game and tension was probably gonna pick up between the mc and ml.

please let me know if you're not. I need to move on with my life

It makes me so happy to hear that G&R had such an impact on you! And I have really good news!

Gold And Rubies got picked up by Manta, so I'll be launching there in March! Thanks to that, I'll also be able to finish WHD, so both series are coming back this year! 🐅🦋✨

(Gold And Rubies will reach the point I dropped it off at by about May or June of this year because there'll be full episodes every week!)

The first few chapters of Gold And Rubies will also be available as a print book soon!

It's sad that I can't offer the series for free anymore but now I can work on comics full time! On that note, I was studying design so the timing for this worked out really well, now I can do comics as my job and hopefully not have any huge hiatuses! 🙏

I make my clothing patterns myself! It's super easy to do, just pull up any repeating pattern and draw it and convert it to a material!

I'm ngl it's been a minute since I've read a book but I finally finished The Stolen Heir and!! Oak loverboy???? Oak grew up to be a loverboy???? It's like finding out your friends baby brother is now the biggest menace in town lmao

Anyway, I love that he has the most interesting design elements from both Locke and Dain, with the personality to match. So here are my Oaksplorations (Oak explorations) because why not?

Full disclosure: I technically have a degree in game design so in theory this shouldn't be terrible.

In practice, I mostly did game art, and that was self-taught... so I'm essentially a little ways from the starting line but the gunshot is still ringing in my ears.

So why do this at all? Because I've already put in hours of work! I wrote the script, I've done character designs - and yeah some of it needs to be redone but I'm too far in. Plus it's fun.

What's the game? It's a horror game with circus-y creatures.

It WAS a sprawling adventure with varied environments but that was when it wasn't just me and a (very talented) environment modeler. We had dedicated designers and programmers.

But I'm very good at scoping down so I did and I'm fully confident I can use UE5 to create an experience ...somewhat like seen before because I'm going to rely on tutorials... but still fun, interesting, scary, all the things a good horror game should be.

I'm scared, but I firmly believe that I, personally, can do anything I set out to do so long as I have the time.

This week, I've learned to use UE5. It's basically the same as 4 so I already knew a lot of it but it's so fucking cool. I'll start whiteboxing and then maybe put together an environment for my webcomic because I want to. Or reverse that order because I genuinely love making my life more difficult of course.

I haven't read a book in two full years though so definitely don't expect bookish content, my attention span is shot
