word of advice to manip makers: put your watermark/url in a place where thief’s can’t erase it or replace it.

people will still probably repost them, but at least other’s will see your watermark/url on it and they’ll know that’s not the original piece. also, try and put it in the center of the manip. people on instagram tend to post a lot of manips from tumblr and don’t give any credit to the makers. i’ve been dealing with this a lot recently, and it’s super annoying.

also, if you see someone on tumblr/instagram/twitter reposting manips that you know aren’t theirs and not giving any credit, feel free to call them out on it. or if you feel it’ll get too dramatic, try and message the original poster and let them know that someone is posting their work and not giving any credit.
