My new Faber Castell pens!! Absolutely in love with them!! The quality is amazing!! A big thanks to my mum for treating me 😊😃😀
Vintage floral inspiration pieces that I believe have a psychedelic illustration feel contained. Looking forward to adding colour, just the decision of which medium now lol 😀😱
Using my vintage floral fabric canvas' as influence for paintings, I have designed a floral colour piece that has a psychedelic feel within. Roll on tomorrow for an early start and mooch into town for paints and brushes to develop this idea into a visual 😁😀
Changing my role of medium of paint to materials. Im loving the outcome these vintage style fabrics achieve when stretched over a canvas frame. Im also using netting overlayed upon the larger of the three to see the diversity in outcome and the subtlety of pattern hidden.
"Outburst" developed into a painting on MDF. Exploring the differences in quality from the paper to board, pen to paint.

Another to add to the "outburst" potentials. Love the familiarity these shapes create, I see so much more from each angle then just shapes of colour.
Some quick colour studies entitled “outburst” that could potentially be led through into paintings. I believe this catogory of free flowing movements of line would have the most visually pleasing elements and express as well as dominate colour if on large scale mdf or canvas. Again the colour palette would be based upon and referenced to some that you would find in interior design books etc. Along with this, I also have numerous prospective directions that I could take within this series, bringing in my current line studies and projecting them further as collaborative projects belonging as one. As I say these are potentials not certanties so exploring, evaluating, developing, expressing, learning, questioning, re-working, and over all creating, are all key elements here.
The meaning of life is that it is to be lived, and it is not to be traded and conceptualized and squeezed into a pattern of systems.

In the life of me and my boyfriend…this could be a potential comic as it is comical even for myself but every drawing is of true events that happen on a daily basis hahaha. Don’t quite know how he puts up with me as I am, as you see, quite mentally insanely crazy lol. Love my life with him :-)

Ahh, finally back in the studio after weeks of finalising my dissertation.
This mid-way painting is the start of devoloping my “back to basics” drawings into colour; using small scale squared mdf I am ultimitely able to achieve a series of alternative patterns.
Initially I wanted to keep the same colour palette as my ongoing project based upon my bedding, however leaving my sketchbook at home I needed to improvise. So by using the mix of paynes grey, blue lake, cerulean and titanium white, I am able to generate these blocks of colour which initiate the repitition of a shape.
My next steps will include using my preexisting palette and devoloping this within patterns I alone have created. Also, I will be looking into home magazines to identify the collection of colours as my work as a whole is a play on mass production and interior design consisting in a fine art, hand painted environment.
This piece in particular reminds me of a bathroom style tile, perhaps this is due to the colours used, or it could be the pattern itself. Further developments may help introduce and idenyify with these links, again touching on the appearence of interior design.
