Indeed. I mean it took Glasgow long enough to have these steps built in the first place. It became a popular area for workers to sit during lunchtime and eat their sandwiches and soak up those all to rare rays of sunshine in the summer. But then, perhaps that’s just it. People sitting outside eating sandwiches aren’t in shopping centres spending money.
