Don't put yourself down, okay? Thankfully, there's a really helpful article at Media Chomp about this kind of problem. Tl;dr: Basically, give them opinions about their specialty and use those to explain stuff about the universe your story is set in.

The whole Little Baby Man version of Danny that the fandom’s been batting around is kind of a fascinating idea. The whole idea for those who don’t know is that Danny could have an “energy-saver” kind of mode, if he over-exerts himself.

So far, there's some consensus that a mini-Danny could have some kittenish tendencies.

Mostly, there’s a lot of joke pics about what kind of mischief he’d get up to in such a tiny form (biting people, playing with boxes, chasing bugs, climbing trees, ect). Those are a hoot and a delight.

I wanted to see if I could come up with my own take on what he might look like in this form.

My mini Danny has some elfin qualities, like something you’d encounter in a fairy-tale. Adorable, charming, but has a somewhat hidden edge to him.

I figure he’d still have at least some of his usual abilities too, just not at their usual strength.

I definitely have some more practice ahead of me… but I still mostly like how this came out. However, if you know a good hair tut, could you please let know about it?

Just something I did for a new icon/wallpaper and as practice. I really like Steven Universe, because so many of the characters are actually believable. They’re not perfect people, but they’re still likable. Also, plot points really do change the status quo, instead being glossed over in later episodes.

I’ve learned a lot since rendering this, so I might re-render this shield at some point... :)

Another happy discovery.

The lighter-looking of the two rings is called the Cloud Ring. I never showed it off before because it didn't look right. However, with a custom material I made in Blender Cycles, it now looks the way it was meant to!

Yep, still messing with what I found... I really like how these two rings came out. The first image is the original, rendered in Bryce5. Each one was rendered in a different renderer. My fav is the green one; it's also one I just got back.(I had the three stone ring back some time ago; it was a freebie I made a long time ago)

Recently several old archives turned up. (one of the side benefits of spring cleaning!) I got back all kinds of models and scene files that were taken from me. I think I may have just about everything back!

Lost in the Lifestream

It's a really weird oldie. I like it now, in spite of, or perhaps because of its history... I came up with this one during a particularly difficult week. Dad was in constant, serious pain and we were all terrified for his well-being. Some people were giving me a hard time in real life, and online on top of that. I felt alone, as though I was stumbling around in the dark, not even sure if what I sought was even there or even if there was light ahead. There were days it felt as though the darkness would never end. Praise God that perception is wrong! I never posted it because this image is dark, I wasn't sure how to finish it, and it held too many sad associations. Even now, it brings back dark memories. However, it now reminds me that all bad times end. It may take time, but every storm has a lifespan. You WILL outlive it. Just hang in there. Aerith probably didn't spend too long searching. Just envision her finding her beloved Zack in the next frame.

Tidewater Sunset

This was a very early render made back in 2000-2001, with Terragen. I think it is one of the first ones I'd ever made! It was on the old Wryter's Fyre site and was made as a companion image for one of Mom 's stories. However, it was a little too simplistic to be used as-is. She still liked the lighting, though, and encouraged me to try again at some point. (I did) The light is meant to mimic a particularly gentle sunset I'd seen not long before.
