Song: "Eyes On Fire" - Blue Foundation
Fall was coming and for most students it meant nothing special. It meant a soft sun that warms up your body with light sun rays, it meant beautiful colours everywhere. Leaves falling down from the nearby trees, tinting the yards of Howarts into a warming red and brown. It meant the excitement to get back into the castle to warm up with a cup of hot chocolate or to take a warm shower and snuggle into your warm clothes. At least that is how fall is by day and yes, most students liked the imagination, because it gave them a certain security. Since the new year started it has been strange, pressure was lingering all around them and it almost seemed as if the trust disappeared. Some students didn't even return to Hogwarts because of the upcoming war and Rebekah couldn't figure out if it was a good thing or a bad one. The thing she knew was that she didn't want to run anymore, she didn't want to escape her fate and she wanted to be brave and courageous enough to face the danger. But not everyone was seeking the danger and it was nice, because after dawn the grounds belonged to the darkness. Tonight was different though and it was vivid, the dark clouds hanging above the castle, almost creating a thousand pounds on all students shoulders. Stepping outside that night, the cold air hit against her face, tinting her cheeks in a soft pink. Hair blowing around her face, Rebekah closed her cloak tighter around her petite figure. The cold never bothered her, she liked the feeling of her own flesh being cold and soft against her touch. Closing the big wooden door behind her, she began to take light steps down the staircase, feeling the mud underneath her shoes as soon as she began to walk over the grass. Taking deep breaths, the cold air was aching in her lungs, but still it felt nice. Without even intending on, her feet dragged her to the entrance of the Forbidden Forest, as usual and she didn't mind. Looking forward for a walk through the thick woods, she was hoping to find a small adventure, something that was igniting the fire inside of her, something that made her feel again, because since she's wearing the necklace it is as if all emotions were shut down and her instincts took over. Once she managed to let her emotions come true when she broke up with Alex, but she had to pay for it and the wound underneath the silver necklace was still visible, healing slower than expected. Since then it was as if she was numb, not feeling a single thing that could be seen as negative.
As her light steps approached the gate, she already inhaled the soothing scent of the forest lying ahead of her. It was a familiar smell that Rebekah cherished a lot and it always felt like home returning into the darkness. Running her thin fingers along the silver gate of the Forbidden Forest, a small smile crept onto her face, making her head turn around to look at the castle one more time, checking if someone was following her. Hogwarts looked as peaceful as always, the lights shining in the dark night, creating nice reflections on the surface of the Black Lake. Surrounding the cold silver with her hand, she pushed it open and stepped onto the dirt, closing the gate right behind her. Although she didn't mind making noises, she did all her actions quietly, as if she was driven by her instinct to survive. But who should be in the Forbidden Forest at that time? Creatures of the night and she was one of them, so there was nothing to fear. Pulling up the hood of the cloak, she began to walk throughout the forest, stepping across wood branches and roots. The air was nice and Rebekah welcomed the silence, but somehow she heard her own blood running through her ears, her adrenaline shooting into all limbs. It was even unusual for her, being ready to attack without having a reason yet, but she felt as if she wasn't alone, as if something was watching her. Not that she was scared, but she was curious what it might be. Shrugging off the thought of it, because it didn't matter and she didn't care if someone or something was surrounding her, she continued to walk to a small clearing, standing in the middle of it as she let her shoulders drop, inhaling deeply to fill up her lungs with the fresh and cold air.

Her thoughts were trailing off, somewhere far away into a better world, into a place that was more home than the bricks that were surrounding her lately. It was horrible to think about it like that, but wearing that necklace meant losing the things people might cherish about her. The kindness she has for some, the humor and her ability to always think positive. Most of the times it was gone just as the sun by night and she was almost scared that there were two personalities inside of her, because sometimes there was still the old person inside, the one that manages to creep back when the necklace tries to rest, but for how long could Rebekah fight against it? There was no answer to such question, because she didn't know. She already tried to pull it off without any success and it worried her a little, but whenever she worries about stuff it happens, just like in that moment. The feeling has been pushed away by a different one, a feeling that the necklace wants her to feel, no matter if she wants it or not. Closing her eyes as she tried to concentrate to hold her power, she saw his eyes in the darkness. Jaymee's eyes as she killed him, as the light inside of his orbs expired forever. Biting her lip she was aware of the fact that the necklace knew how to break her and the harder she tried, the more she remembered. Just like the encounter with Mister Grey, how he ended up dead as well. All those flashbacks were mixed with the hunting of Jennifer Silmings, how Rebekah was running after her throughout the castle, how her wand was casting spells into her direction. Rebekah tried to forget, she didn't want to hear about the bad blood anymore, she didn't want to hear anyone talking about it again, but the necklace kept pushing those memories back into her mind and she had to face those memories, but since her last death she tried to be a better person, she really did because she didn't know how to explain things. But all of her thoughts seem to be vanishing within a small amount of time, hearing a noise behind her.

Turning around with a quick move, she tilted her head, the brunette locks falling to her side, the wind breezing right through her hair. Grabbing her wand tightly, she felt the adrenaline pumping through her veins, making her feel dizzy out of all sudden. Managing to keep herself steady, she kept peering between the thick woods, being sure that she is not alone anymore. Closing her eyes as if the necklace demanded it, it was all gone, her emotions, her thoughts and her humanity. It turned her into a predator, the killer she never wanted to be again but she was feeling it, it was begging her to give in, begging her to see who it was, begging to see the light expiring one more time. Rebekah didn't want to but out of all sudden her legs began to move into the direction the noise was coming from and no matter how hard she tried, she was just an empty corpse to the black magic that has been taken over her body and there was no other way than giving in. Feeling her dark mark pulsating, she heard a small squeak from behind the trees and she knew it was a student. Inside she was begging that it was someone she didn't know, because thinking about the possibly that it might be someone she loves was killing her even more. It was bad enough already, but it could always be worse. Lifting her wand, she pointed it into the direction and shot a spell, the branch catching fire rather quickly and tinting the darkness into a dimmed warm light. The figure in front of her was frozen, leaned against one of the trees that was supposed to save her. The blonde hair was falling down her shoulders, Rebekah could've bet that she saw her body shaking from the distance. Looking up into the girl's eyes, she saw blue orbs peering back at her, eyes filled with tears that were begging her to leave her alone. But that was the problem, the more she was scared and frightened, the better for the necklace, because that was the emotion it was feeding from and Rebekah knew that this would take a bad end.
She tried to focus on her inner self, hoping that she could get through the gates of the necklace, but it was harder than expected. Feeling the itching pain against her skin again, she knew that it was burning like acid into her skin. It was a familiar feeling lately, thinking about the last time it happened when she broke up with Alexander. This time she wanted to give her best not to kill anyone, she wanted to push it further, she wanted to break through again to warn her, because the girl in front of her seemed to be loose herself. "R..", she began, a sound of pain escaping her voice as the blood was running down her chest, the air filling with a burnt sent. Rebekah needed to try harder, she needed to get her away from this castle, "run", she managed to get out and right in that moment she had to throw up. Falling against a tree, she tasted far too much iron somehow and raising her hand it was becoming reality, her hand covered in blood. Closing her eyes as she took a deep breath, it was all gone. She felt herself surrounded by nothing, there was no pain or fear, the only thing she was craving for was blood, but not her own. Opening her eyes again, her orbs followed the blonde girl into the darkness and without hesitation, her body followed her into the night. The necklace took over and she was scared that it was making her do something she didn't want to do, that she would become the killer again, the person she didn't want to be anymore, but it was too late and she knew it, it was too late and tonight, it would be another one on her long list.
Song: "The Kill" - 30 Seconds To Mars
The blonde girl began to run into the castle's direction and even in the dark, Rebekah's eyes spottet her through the branches. But she kept running after her, pointing out her small figure in the dark whenever she raised her wand to shoot a spell. Constantly missing her target, the spells crashed against the trees, making them burn within seconds. Rebekah felt the heat surrounding her, she felt the heat against her skin and she loved it as much as the cold that was softly caressing her skin most of the times. But the fire gave her a different feeling, the fire reminded her about death, about love, about Zacharias and she enjoyed every moment thinking about him, feeling closer to him. Shaking her head lightly to get her best friend out of her head, Rebekah tried to pick up pace, to be faster than her victim, although in the end Rebekah knew that she would always be faster. And there he was again, Zacharias, like a flash back running in front of her. Her heart was pumping more blood throughout her system, her heart banging against her chest and the necklace began to hurt, although it took over. It should have been satisfied, but somehow the necklace sensed the pain inside of her chest whenever she thought about him. Closing her eyes, she inhaled deeply, a mixture of the natural wooden smell mixed with fire. Running even faster now, she opened her eyes and shot another spell, a spell that finally hit the petite blonde in front of her.
The girl fell into the mud, screaming loudly as her head hit against a rock. Laughing a little, Rebekah stopped running and began to walk towards her, knowing she'd won the game. "Has no one ever told you that the Forbidden Forest is a dangerous place?", she asked, her voice filled with a lower tone. The girl didn't answer, she was scared and cried silently, "well, I thought that", Rebekah broke the silence and leaned against a tree. "You can be glad that I was the one that found you", she said and nodded, "there are horrible creatures out there, some would have eaten you up alive", Rebekah whispered, the words rolling down her tongue like sugar, her lips forming into a small smirk, "but you're save with me", she spoke softly. The necklace seemed to be satisfied, it was pulsating against her skin, like small electric shocks, shocks that made her cringe inside, but in a very positive way. Rebekah began to laugh brightly, "just joking", she said brightly and stepped forward, lifting her wand towards the small girl, "you know what's happening next", the Slytherin girl said and smiled, "I wish I could tell you that I am sorry, but", she said and rolled eyes, "I am not. I might leave your parents a card though", she said and chuckled, biting her lips as she raised her wand a bit further. Silence. It took over both of them, even the crying stopped, because she knew that she was facing the death by now and Rebekah quite liked it, it was giving her the power she always wanted, the power she always sought for. "Avada Kedavra", she whispered, looking into the girl's eyes as the light expired forever.
