Dear Rogue One Fans! who really, really miss the crew

Mark your calendars - from June 2nd - July 13th, 2019 we will be celebrating the wonderful characters introduced in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story! 

Our goal is to fill up the character tags with non shippy content for each week’s featured character.

We accept all forms of creations for all themes: fanart, fanfic, gifs, graphics, manips, songs, cosplay, anything - as long as shipping is not the primary focus. Creations can have a couple the creator ships interacting, but the focus must be on the characters themselves, not their romantic relationship. 

Schedule (one week per character, the last week can be for Kay or any other character(s)):

June 2-8: Jyn Erso June 9-15: Cassian Andor June 16-22: Bodhi Rook June 23-29: Chirrut Imwe June 30-July 6: Baze Malbus July 7-13: Rebel, Rebel! (Free Week)

I KNOW that I’m going against SW canon that non-Jedi can’t become Force Ghosts, BUT WHAT IF they could become Force “Whispers”? Not strong enough to be noticed or sensed by other force-sensitive people, they’re just there. Observing what happens with the slither of hope they passed on to the Rebellion.

Inspired by how well Director Gareth Edwards connected “Rogue One” to “A New Hope”.

Hello my friends, you may remember that last year I held a Star Wars Writer Appreciation Weekend! Well, now that the new year has started, I’d like to try it again! 

As readers and writers of fic, sometimes we get a little too caught up in the daily grind. As readers, we sometimes don’t know what to say in comments, or think that our comments aren’t “good” enough. As creators, we focus so much on our own fanworks that we forget to stop and appreciate the work that our fellow creators do! (I know my own to read list is so long that it looks like I’ll never get through it!)

So this weekend, from Jan 25th-Jan 27th, I’d like to try and change that! Even just for a little while. This weekend go out and comment on that fic that you’ve been swearing you’ll comment on! Go read a fic that you’ve been putting off for “later.” Make a rec list of fics you’ve read recently! If you’re particularly artsy and/or ambitious, make a moodboard/edit/or doodle for that fic! Whatever it is that you want to do to show some Star Wars fic love!
