Helluva boss season two episode 12 spoiler warning

OCTAVIA MY POOR BABY. Of course she's heartbroken. From her perspective her father chose his new lover over her. Stolas accidentally broke the most important promise he made to her. He thought there was no other option at the time and I get that, but Octavias reaction is 100% valid.

She's only 17 and has been manipulated by everyone around her. Stella wouldn't even let her take Stolas calls because she KNEW Stolas would try to explain himself. She wants her to hate him.

Honestly though as furious as she is with Stolas I doubt she hates him. She wouldn't have protected him otherwise unless she's a total pacifist. Plus she doesn't want her mother finding out about the fight, so he won't get into further trouble. She does still love him.

She even blames herself for her fathers depresion no baby its not you're fault. Stella and Andrealphus are going to use this anger to push him away forever. Stolas is terrified he won't see his daughter for a century. That's if she accepts him after those years are over.
