People were scary. But computers? Nadia understod those. (Maybe that was why she liked Talia, who was sort of half-computer â or was that offensive?) When the other said that she had a job for her, she was a little relieved. There was a script she could follow for this. âAlright. Come over here.â She double checked all of the curtains, making sure they were drawn tight. Then she dragged a chair from the dining table next to her computer set up for Talia to sit in. That done, she sat in her own chair. âSounds really serious, so Iâm going to run a quick security check.â It was a formality more than anything else, but the group hadnât gotten as far as they had by being careless. âTell me everything while I do.â
Sometimes, Talia fount Nadia to be very interesting compared to other humans she has met. But the reason could be that she was fond of technology but mostly computers. While sometimes, Talia wishes otherâs didnât know she was a cyborg right away. If it wasnât from the scars and being the first cyborg, maybe she would be able to blend in with humans. Especially since she could never fit in with robots. She shook her head with a slight grin before sitting down. âI figured someone would be happy with this task.â She said softly before letting out a sigh. âI was at one of those cyborg meetings, just to see if anyone was ready to join the resistance. But yet again, the robots knew about the meeting. I managed to slip out before they could catch me. Only because a fight broke out but one of the robots managed to lose an arm. Now, we know where their serial numbers are located. Anyways, I thought it would be a good idea to learn the ins and outs of them.â She told her quickly before adding, âSorry for talking so fast. Itâs been a long night.â
