Ya know what really grinds my gears? When people act like you knowing shit about your disorder means you're faking it and looking for attention.

I actually say I have autism and attribute certain behaviors I'm exhibiting to autism? I'm clearly faking. Clearly I read one article and now this is my entire personality. God forbid a man does research about the disorder he was diagnosed with so he can better understand and manage it ig.

I feel like I have to play dumb about my own disorders and mental health issues for others to take them seriously. Like I have to just pretend I was never diagnosed, and yet still face criticism for my behavior because there's "no reason you should be acting like that." ???

I'm glad I've only actually been diagnosed with autism, because if I got diagnosed with ASPD, I'd be stuck between being viewed as a monster and being told I'm faking it.
