This is actualy a very sweet love story, and honestly pretty well thought out, in terms of HOW these two would get together. Luke goes to the repopulated planet of the Mandalorians having sensed the Child. And because he wants to stay he begins training under the Mandolorians.

He and Din grow close because Luke is attempting to guide his son in the ways of the Jedi, and Mando is 100% a father in way over his head. Anyways, they get married. Mazeltov!

Jin Guangyao last act is to curse Lan Xichen, forcing him to give into his most humiliating feelings, his instinct is to waste away from the curse, but Wei Wuxian is through with the people he cares about dying.

Lan Xichen is such a heartbreaking character, he literaly did nothing but care about the people around him! In anycase this fic is scorchingly hot, well written, and beautiful.

Wen Ning, despite becoming a forensic tech, has led a standard and boring life until he transfers to the Gusu Police Department and two Private Investigators beging taking an interest in him. 

This fic is beautiful, and has some lovely fanart to go along with it.

Wen Ning continues the cycle of reincarnation, he always remembers his past lives and sometimes the other do too. But one constant is that Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji always meet. Wen Ning is always unprepared for the two of them, but he dosen’t expect this life will be much different from his others.

I LOVE Wen Ning so much! It’s really difficult to find decent Wen Ning fics. Hell have you seen “The Living Dead” how out of character was he then??? But I think this fic strikes the middle ground of sweet/awkward, and strong/capable that I enjoy.

Also if you enjoy this Same Sweet Shock is from the same universe and tells the story of Meng Yao. It’s REAL good.

Bones and Jim are in a relationship, but when Spocks Pon Farr comes arounf Jim volunteers to be his mate through it, with Leonard keeping watch. However Kirks human body can’t keep up, and to save his friends Bones takes over in the middle of the ritual. This was not something any of them discussed or agreed to.

I really love fics staring these three together, and I especialy like when they’re from the good Doctors point of view. I thinks it’s the scarcasm and the self deprication that does it for me.

Peter is an omega who’s hormones chaged for the weird when he was bit by that spider. Alphas are usualy put off by his dominate personality, but there’s at least one alpha out there who’s SUPER into it.

This is actualy kind of a sweet fic even though there’s mostly just a lot of fucking happening. Peter and Wade are remarkably compatible, and even though Peter is dominate and Wade submisive they’re still very much in character.

The story starts casually, and it would stay that way if Harolds over analytical mind and growing emotional attachment didn’t push for more.

This fic is a slow burn, but in the oddest way, since the story starts with physical closeness, the burn itself is the emotional realizations Harold makes over the course of the story, and Johns need for closeness and worry over it.

I didn’t think I would take to POI in the begining, the series ambles awhile to get where it’s going, and the fact that my roomate was a fan I just chalked up to her having a mild crush on Jim Cavizel. But the show ended up being reasonably interesting, with a wealth of fanfiction to keep me sated.

The fic is essentialy the plot of the show with some magical realism, and a sexual relationship tossed in. I’d say the writing is very efficent story telling, giving the reader just the information we need to know without bogging us down in how magic fits into the socital structure (don’t get me wrong, I like that too, but I don’t think it’s always needed).

Also, there’s pretty good sex.

Other Comments: Quite short, slightly angsty but with a happy ending.

Newt and Credence have recently married, but due to some American Wizarding laws they may be forced apart unless a witch or wizard of reputable standing marries into the twosome. Enter Mr. Graves.

I do have some problems with the story itself, it’s told from Percival Graves perpective and it appears he randomly decided to wed Newt and Credence, but then didn’t even meet ot talk to them until the wedding. I’m being nitpicky here, after all there would be no story without his impulsive decision.

I’ve yet to find a Graves I like more then the one BeeLove has crafted here, strong, but lonely, well respected by his peers. He’s kind too, if not exactly affectionate. I don’t know if we’ll be seeing the real Graves in future movies, but I hope he’s a bit like this. Credence is shy, sweet, and affectionate. Newt is a slightly out of character, but it’s not hard to imagine him pulling out angry and posessive reserves when it concerns his husband.

Harry has become the Hogwarts Caretaker, and while preparing the gardens before the start of the school year he makes a new friend.

I won’t give too much away, but if you’d told me the premise of this story before I’d read it, I probably would have avoided it. But it’s very well written with a good balance of story, and characterization. I don’t know how Harry became caretaker, but I’ve always liked the stories where Harry decides to live a mostly unremarkable life after the war.

I wasn’t kidding about the above warning though, there is full on animal sexing happening, so don’t say I didn’t warn ya. But if you can get past that it’s a good read. I probably would have stayed mad longer then Harry, but it’s a story, things need to get wrapped up.

Other Comments: Some inconsistencies.

Batman tries to seduce his young protege with the help of Big Blue. Also Dick get’s in on the action later, cause why not. I know that’s not an amazing description, but for the most part you’re inside Tims head running through his thought process along with him. 

I can barely put into words how scorchingly hot this fic is. Bruce, Clark, and Dick are very attentive and affectionate, all in different unique ways. And Tim is just the way I like him, emotionally confused, and too smart for his own good.

There is a slow build in the relationships between these characters, but enough of the sexy stuff to keep you hooked the whole way through.

I’ve been sitting on this one for awhile, sorry it’s taken so long to rec. I’m really enjoying these “Foggy meets the Avengers and they end up liking him better than Matt”, stories. They’re usually light hearted (though this one has some darker moments), and as an added bonus I like Foggy being more important and needed then he thinks he is.

Matt leads a mostly solitary existence, he gets comfort at the end of his long evenings by listening to a local radio show called “Foggy with a Chance”.

Podfics and I haven’t always gotten along, especially gay ship ones. There’s something odd about listening to a very feminine voice say something like, “and then he touched my cock.” To me it was cringe inducing and took me right out of the story.

Recently I’ve been listening to a few again (nothing explicit though) because I needed some different entertainment while working from home. And I have to say I very much enjoy the way knight_tracer reads. 

lady_ragnell wrote a lovely little story about the way Matt and Foggy could have met if Foggy had chosen another career path. Both Matt and Foggy are still very much in character. Foggy is funny, helpful, and smart as a whip. Matt is capable, tired, and still able to see light at the end of the tunnel.

Foggy meets the Devil on a Tuesday, his life has gone steadily down hill ever since. 

So an interesting little look at what life for our Avocados might look like now, if they hadn't roomed together in College. It’s written from Foggys perspective so the info that we get about Matt is colored through a Foggy lens (get it?). It does start off pretty dark but ends on a lighter note.

This was not a pairing I was expecting to like. It sort of snuck up on me, now I can’t get enough. So expect quite a few Avocados at Law recs to come.

So I don’t precisely know where this story lands on the weird TF&TF time table. I’m not sure it matters. It’s written from Doms point of view, and starts out particularly unsexy with the guys waking up after an all night bender. Dom is desperately trying to put the pieces from the night before together. Brian was the designated driver, and is totally messing with Dom. Also, Dom can tell he’s hiding something.

Brian and Dom are still very much in character, and if you like this short story I’d urge you to read khaleesians other TF&TF fics.

I Can’t Extinguish This Fire

Other Comments: Dom being a deadbeat dad.

Oh jeeze, I love the idea of Arthur and Eames together so much, but I have a very difficult time finding Inception fic that I like, often one of the characters feels too far away from their personality that it ends up taking me out of the moment too much.

But I like this one, I’ve read it a few times.

Arthur is an art thief who moves in with Doms family when it’s clear that his friend isn’t handling his wifes death very well. Eames is the handsome fireman that flirts with Arthur when he’s on calls in the area.

It’s not a romance for the ages, but it does at least feel genuine, Arthur and Eames still feel like themselves (though Dom is a little off), and it’s an excellent little romance story.
