Winning a ‘bet’ against your sire can lead to interesting results. In this case, Gašper found out that hees sire, Rike is pleasantly warm to heem. Who knew that a vampire could like warmth like that?

more sketches from recent sessions (combat-heavy): - Tosk and Jacks fighting Camarilla and a demon possessing a vampire's body - the assembled, freshly post-combat, many heavily wounded, listening to the Doll give a victory speech. our Bishop (still in dragon form) has other things to focus on. - aftermath (Tosk coordinating something for the Doll, and then talking with Jones about the coordinated something)

why did they remove nature/demeanor from v5 this shit is so good roleplay-wise. like i haven't even tested it in practice yet but it forces you to pick two personality traits for your character right at character creation and you get rewarded for roleplaying them. it's so good!!! it's so user-friendly!!!!!!! why isn't it a thing in v5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i love nature & demeanor. i wish v5 had kept it. vampire the requiem has it (edit: it's called mask and dirge there, that's where i first encountered it). and not not only does it give you two character traits that help guide roleplay & sources of potential conflict, it also gets you thinking about how your character acts outwardly compared to who they are at their core which they may or may not hide. and it also rewards leaning into drama and creating issues for your character just by sticking to who they are.
