I’m trying to get it together and start sketching out a comic. Yet I can’t make up my mind when it come to style... The big one is done with fineliners and coloured inks, the first skull is ink and crayons, and then the second skull is made with a Wacom Intuos in Photoshop.
Got some pretty nifty artwork in the post all the way from California and a beautiful surprise from @grimwilkins Thanks! Please keep up the amazing work. This kind of self-publishig is an inspiration to budding comic artists everywhere. Like me! :) #grimwilkins #mirenda #comicart #selfpublished #independent #artist
ANOTHER wight king I’ve been working on, mostly finished, and another Putrid Blightking conversion. I can’t get enough of those models- there’s something brilliant about their design so I guess a (somewhat bittersweet) hats off to old GW. Even though they look better as skeletons.
Finalised version of a vampire lord model I’ve been working on (please ignore the current lack of basing). The paint job isn’t stellar but it’s mainly about the conversion for me. Also I am painfully aware I need a better camera...
Some skeleton and monster ideas and general sketches whilst I’m in the process of getting to grips with using a tablet. Never done it before. Feels weeeeeeeird... In a good way. :/
Couple of designs for a graphic novel in which the main character is a skeleton. Because skeletons are cool.
An old, tiny monk who spent too long looking at the sun. Character concept for graphic novel. Made with a Wacom intuos art.
Quick concept sketches for some dragon-like creatures, done using a Wacom intuos art. I figured they’d be like shells filled with fire, rather than actual flesh and blood.
Work in progress of a wight king conversion from the GW Putrid Blightking models, complete with weathered bronze process.
