âI-Iâm not too sure you understand what I mean. When I say my home isnât safe...I mean, it isnât safe. You canât make me go back there.â
If I do offend you when we rp, at least come and tell me, as opposed to making a post which is obviously aimed at me. My characters are my characters. This here is a makeshift world and if you donât like that, then we obviously dont need to interact anymore. Sorry for offending anyone.

You want to go home? Go home, Cody. Surprised by that line and that line alone, Cody didnât really have a comeback to be honest. The only thing he took away from this was that at least she was giving him a choice in the matter. Though he easily could have shot back something smartass and sarcastic, Cody kept quiet and didnât move when Lily left to go take her tray of drinks back over to the table where her friends were. The fact that he knew they were judging him and that they would judge him even harder when they would see Lily come back without Cody in tow was enough to pretty much determine that their opinion of him was already pretty skewed. If not already tainted. So really, there was no reason for him to stick around if Lily was in the comfort of her friends. People he didnât even know and people that he didnât care to meet under the ambiance of a club. His mood wasnât friendly and his attitude was certainly not prone for conversating or âbeing niceâ to people. She wanted him to grow up and impress them? That was a bitch comment. She wanted him to grow up, yet she knew how protective he was.
So if anything, she had done this to herself. She had sparked this issue on her own accord and she was the reason why he was on edge. From the moment she mentioned that guys would be looking at her and the moment in which earlier she was bending over just to show off her panties? Yeah. There was clearly a problem if she voluntarily knew that she would be watched and yet she still wore that kind of underwear out anyway. The fact that she knew that she would be dancing and getting close to other guys, yet she was forcing Cody to endure and have to deal with that? Hell no. Fuck that. To him, this was a trap and this was a test to see just how much patience he had. Well, she was about to find out he had none. Scooting off from the bar stool, Cody had no intention of looking over to where Lily and her friends were seated as he pretty much adjusted his attire while heading towards the front doors of the club. Voluntarily being the better man in this case and leaving her behind with her friends while he could take his attitude elsewhere. Which was why he couldnât have wanted to get out of there any faster.
Whilst her friends were talking and taking their shorts, Lily was constantly looking out the corner of her eye, her thoughts saying the same thing over and over again. You better man up and come over here. Donât let me down. Yet she saw him get to his feet and walk the other way. She saw the way he didnât even think to check that she was okay before he left. And every single one of her friends noticed too, for they all went quiet, and their gazes followed Lilyâs. She felt humiliated, in all honesty. She had spoke so much about Cody, she had truly made him seen like her prince charming...yet here they were, not even 10 minutes into this gathering and heâd already left her alone. âE-excuse me.â She whispered, quickly getting to her feet and making her way to the bathroom, where she locked herself in a cubical and cried. This was the first time too, that her and Cody had fallen out. It was the first time heâd made her heart ache in a bad way, and her first thought was, how the hell do we get over this? Because he was protective. To the point where there was no way he could have enjoyed tonight. And in some situations it was great, and she loved it, but tonight, she wished that he would have just enjoyed himself. She wished that he could have enjoyed her company.
An hour had passed and she was still locked away. None of her friends could get her to come out, because she was certain they were all talking about what had happened. She knew that they would disapprove of him - even more so now that she was sat there crying for so long. Deciding that she may as well just go home, although she was afraid of the confrontation that was awaiting her, she left the bathroom, hugged all her friends goodbye and walked out the club. Of course, he had the car, so she had a long journey home. And little did poor Lily know what would be waiting for her round the corner.
After the first set of friends were met and he made the smallest amount of small talk he could possibly give while at least putting in effort, the group was soon lead inside. As much as Codyâs job as both a Bartender and as a DJ took him to several clubs and bars, he still never liked the idea of so many people all in one place. It was fodder to just feed off of drama and way too may personalities and egos were all in the same establishment. Too many uncertainties arose. Too many uncomfortable people all in one place. Too much to think about. In night clubs and bars, you always had to look over your shoulder and protect yourself just in case. In this case, Cody not only had to look over his shoulder, but he had to take into mind Lily who was dressed so provocatively. From her earlier tease of how she pent over to grab her purse and her panties hiked up a little higher than most, Cody knew for a fact that he wasnât going to be the only one who could see that if she happened to do it again in the bar. Not just that, but he could tell people were already looking over at her and that already made him put a quick guard up.
Forcing himself to make small talk as he was mentally irritated by the fact that he had to be introduced to a whole entire new crew of friends, Cody really had to think that Lily wasnât thinking this through. The fact that she chose to have Cody become introduced to her friends at a nightclub as opposed to a coffee shop or even her friends house? It was a skeptical. It was pretty annoying and it wasnât the best place to make first impressions and interactions. Especially when Cody was on guard as it is and had to keep tabs on Lily the whole damn time he was here. This was a stupid idea really, but he wasnât going to say that out loud. Heâd just bitch, whine, complain and judge people in his head. After being lead to the bar and pretty much interrogated by Lily as to how much this apparently meant to her and how much was riding on him leaving a good first impression, Cody almost scoffed. But, he stopped himself midway and looked around as if it wasnât directed at Lily. âSpoken from someone who has only had one relationship in her entire life? You have no idea just how much there is to worry about. Seriouslyâ.
Sheâd always been one to keep things low key, but with something as big as finally letting Cody meet her friends, she wanted to do this up. She had wanted this to be a night worth remembering and she wanted it to be enjoyable for all her friends. Knowing that most of them would find a civil meeting in a coffee shop a little boring, and they all had plans to come here tonight anyway, sheâd seen it as the perfect opportunity to bring her boyfriend with her, to let them see what a wonderful person he was. Yet seeing how he acted towards them, it didnât feel like he was the wonderful person that she had fallen so desperately in love with. It felt like he was some ass that Sophia normally would have been dating, and all of them would warn her that he wasnât going to be her forever. Theyâd all let her know that she could do better. Lily couldnât do better though, not when Cody was so loving at home. Not when he was so good to her all the time...except for now.
âYou want to go home?â She said, looking over at him. âGo home, Cody. You obviously dont want to be here. You obviously canât look past other people and just focus on the fact that Iâm right here, with you. So go. But Iâm not coming home with you. Iâm going to stay here with my friends and enjoy my night. I know you donât really want that. I know you dont want to leave me here alone, because then you might have something to actually worry about. Because then you canât kick someoneâs ass for coming a little too close to me. So I suggest you learn to grow up right now. For me. Enjoy this evening, dance with me and talk to my friends like you are trying to impress them. To show them that youâre not an asshole like most of the guys we know.â And with that, she picked up the tray of shots and took them over to the table, setting them down before sitting next to her friends, all of whom were glancing at each other, obviously having been speaking about her choice in boyfriend whilst she had taken him away to the bar.
Despite her best intentions to keep him enthusiastic and interested in the nightâs festivities, Cody couldnât help but focus on his prior concerns. That, and the newfound one with how she mentioned that her form of dancing seemed to be of an invitation to other guys. Which at that point, Cody was just going to say to avoid the whole dancing thing altogether. He analyzed things and thought them through as opposed to going into a situation blindsided. If the problem was dancing, he wasnât going to partake in it. Especially if it would gather a crowd of guys to see if they could get lucky with Lily. Knowing his temper? Heâd start throwing punches or getting confrontational. A protective Cody is none to be fucked with, ans he would have made that clear from the get-go. âKeep telling me about this whole dancing routine and how you feel as if guys will be clamoring around you and I can guarantee my hands wonât be off of you. That wasnât an open invitation to do so, by the way. Just thinking about it already puts me on edgeâ. A bit of a knife-edged comment, yet one displaying his discomfort with topics such as that.
Along with this commebt, his eyes kept on peering at the long line of people waiting in the queue, not once taking his eyes off of a few certain guys who would give Lily their main attention. Glares could be visible from miles away burning through his eyes and the fact that he was probably going to be tending to the bar and finding himself a proper vacancy there for the remainder of the night was quite obvious if things were going the way they were going already. His hand that had once held Lilyâs on their way to the front of the club loosened as she dashed off to greet her friends. Cody not really focusing on the whole joyous scene unfolding at the moment and rather keeping his eyes elsewhere. More so on the bouncers who were equally keeping their eyes on him. Clearly they could tell he was in a bit of a mood and Cody himself really wasnât making it that unnoticeable. Having to subside his current mood and force himself to put a positive expression on his face, Cody greeted her friends with a kind âHelloâ and a wave in sequence. His hands then returning back to his sides and shoving themselves in his pockets.
âLove, Iâm only going to be dancing with you tonight. Other people arenât going to be allowed near me because Iâm not going to let them - and I know you certainly wont.â That was one thing she was a little on edge about. She knew that Codyâs protectiveness was just a part of who he was, but she was afraid her friends may view it as controlling, if he let it show tonight. Lily quite liked the fact that he was so desperate to make sure she was only his, for it meant he truly did want her forever. It meant he had no intentions of ever sharing her, of ever losing her. And she had no intentions of ever going anywhere. When they had made things official between them, it was then that she had told him that this was it, he was stuck with her for good. This was only proved by when she made the decision to get intimate with Cody. Something she had been so afraid of originally, because she was so uncomfortable with her body that she truly believed no one else could possibly love her. And yet she trusted him enough to allow him that intimacy, she let him have something so special from her because he really did deserve it.
After chatting with her friends as they all made their way to the booth theyâd managed to reserve, she greeted the rest of her friends, again introducing her boyfriend, although there was a twinge in her heart at the way he seemed so...bored. Maybe thatâs not what he was thinking. No, that definitely wasnât what he was thinking. But the least he could do was look pleased to see her friends, to finally meet all of them. âAlright, me and Cody are going to go grab some drinks and then weâll be back.â She announced, linking arms with her boyfriend before steering him off to the bar. âWhat the hell is wrong with you?â She said after ordering a couple rounds of shots for everyone. âDo you know how important this is to me? Really? Youâre the first guy Iâve ever let them meet. Heck, you are my first boyfriend. Smile. Look at least half interested in finally being able to meet them. I get it, there are people here looking at me and you donât like it. I donât particularly like it either, because theyâre only viewing me as walking sex, basically. I only care about you, Cody. I only want your eyes on me. I only want your hands on me...okay? You have nothing to worry about.â
âReally? I was sure people would want to take pictures of you. You are gorgeous.â
âIâm not entirely sure I can agree with you on that one, but thank you. Thatâs very sweet of you to say.â
Despite his eyes keeping focus on the road, Cody could tell he was being watched and glanced at from his peripherals. It wasnât hard to tell either seeing as Lily was making it quite clear, not just from her words spoken to him but by how she kept her hand on his knee. Tonight was supposed to be about the two of them and her friends, but he always had to worry about the other elements around them as well. Cody worried about a lot of things. Possibly too many things which often got him a bit moody or a bit too overly concerned regarding things. It was always in the best interests, but he couldnât help but just always incorporate not just Lily and him, but other unwanted predicaments. âI know, Lily. I know. You and I have been together for how long now? Weâre the best two possible loving, caring individuals to intertwine our lives into a relationship. You mean everything to me and Iâd be done for if anything happened to you. Which is why I worry so much. Because I canât afford to lose you and I refuse to sit there while other guys think they can win you over. I couldnât forgive myself if I lost youâ.
Listening to Lily as she gave him instruction as to where to park as soon as they got close to the club, Cody simply nodded and drove his car accordingly to the suggested location. Pulling into the parking lot, Cody managed to find a decent spot along the left row of spaces between what looked like a Toyota Highlander and a Chrysler minivan. Once he evenly drove into the parking space and shifted into Park, Cody turned the engine to the car off and rested his back against the seat for a bit. Closing his eyes and bringing his hands to his face so he could take a deep breath and exhale through his nose. Hid fingers momentarily getting lost, stroking his hair before moving back down to adjust the coat of his attire he was wearing for the night. âAlright. Be myself, got it. No promises that I wonât be giving guys evil eyes if they try to get close to you or lay a hand on you. Canât promise I wonât get super protective of you or confrontational with them either. For the sake of a good impression with your friends, Iâll be.. decent. Iâll try to swallow my worries and concerns to make for a good impression. I love you too, Lilyâ.
The two stepped out of the car, Lily immediately finding his hand at the first opportunity. Moments like this, she felt like she was in a movie. After all, what 18 year old girl with such a problematic background could say they were madly in love with one of the most handsome, caring guys on the whole entire planet? Only one. And that was her. Sheâd never take Cody for granted, ever. Because whilst he did have nice things, like his car, she wasnât with him for those benefits. She was with him because every time they were together, she felt completely, and when they were apart it was like there was a whole in her heart. It physically pained her when she had to be without him for too long, which was a big reason as to why she was so nervous to kick start her modelling career. It was something Cody had talked her into, what with his constant reminding her of how beautiful she is, Lily was now finally starting to believe it. And if she could make a career which would pay well, and yet would still be something she enjoyed, sheâd do it. But along with modelling came travelling around, and sheâd never want to take away from Cody. He was her priority. He was her world.
âI promise you, youâre going to do perfectly tonight. Theyâre all going to love you, because I love you, because you make me so happy. The only problem that weâre going to have, is you trying to keep your hands off me. Because one thing Iâve been doing since I could walk, is dancing. And the older I am, the more I know how to dance in a way that...can be of interest to another. More specifically, to you.â She smirked, walking close to him as they bypassed the long queue, her friends pulling them inside immediately so the bouncers had no choice but to grant them access. âSophia, Jade!â She squealed, dropping Codyâs hand for a brief moment to hug her two closest friends. Afterwards she stepped back. âThis is Cody, my boyfriend.âÂ
âI think itâs an accomplishment.â He shrugged. âFor people like us itâs an accomplishment.â He slowly nodded, sighing deeply. âI have mostly bad days. Especially the past month. Iâm so tired all I do is sleep.â Liam was now bursting with energy. He could jump and dance and run around. And that was basically her effect on him. âSame, they send me away.. I was expelled three months ago.â
âNo one understands.â She said softly. âEven the people who are supposed to understand...they just donât. School is one of the only normal things people like...like us have left. Even though we canât be there all the time...even though we canât manage to be the best students that they need...the days we are there, they make us feel more normal.â Lily shrugged. âMaybe school isnât all what its cut out to be. Maybe none of it is. Not whilst weâre...sick, anyway.â Because she believed depression like this was an illness. Just her, and Liam, were in search of a cure still.
âThen what are we waiting for, sweetheart?â He asked, nonchalantly. His lips crashed against the blondeâs soon after, as he let his hands wander around her body and his mouth ghosted on her jaw and neck, every inch of Ryanâs anatomy craving hers. He pulled her closer, and rose her from her feet so she wrapped her legs around his waist.
The moment his lips came crashing down against her own, she became his own. She would be willing to do anything and everything to pleasure him, to ensure that this would be more than a one time thing. Effortlessly, Sophia jumped up, her legs wrapping around his waist as their bodies pressed firmly together. Her hands entangled in his blonde hair as his lips traveled down to her neck. âMark me.â She whispered. âShow everyone that Iâm yours.â

Just the idea of how he might have to protect her if guys would get a bit handsy or try to ask her out, caused his mood to shift a bit. Cody was admittedly the jealous type at times and he wasnât afraid to punch some guy out if they challenged him. But at the same time, it made him just completely irritated since all he ever wanted to do was have a good night with Lily and her friends without drama or issues. But there was never a real idea of what would happen at a bar or a club nowadays. He hardly remembered where they were going, so he was relying on Lily to tell him where to go and how close they were. âI.. donât want to think about that right now. The only thing on my mind is you. Me. Your friends and a relaxing night together. I seriously donât want to get set off by some guy hitting on you or anything other than the three things I listed above. All I want, is just a peaceful night together. Thatâs it. A peaceful night that way you and I can light up the sky and display to everyone just how hot and committed to one another we are. How loyal and how perfect we are for one another. Nothing elseâ.
Granted he noted her hand on his knee and thumbâs actions, his mind was already preparing himself for an encounter tonight even if it came or not. He was pretty much psyching himself up right now for a situation and a showdown that might not even come. Just the thought of it made him twitch a bit in his seated positioning while his eyes never tore away from the road as he drove. Cody was a safe driver. A very safe driver. Not an obnoxious one that would strictly obey the speed limits and not go any faster or any slower. No. But he was one of those drivers that never took his eyes off the road and the cars in front of him that way he could never be in danger of an accident. The last thing he wanted to do was to cause a car accident or be involved in one that could potentially take Lilyâs life. Her life was far more precious to him than his life alone and he would be absolutely gone and destroyed if her life was taken from her involuntarily and unintentionally by his hands or anyone elses for that matter. Even that thought alone was just tossing more taggers at the mood board of his thoughts right now and curbing him.
She looked up at him through her lashes, sensing the shift in his mood. Honestly, sheâd never thought the situation would even arise that another would hit on her, for it seemed like such a miracle that Cody already liked her. But, it had happened before, and tonight she was certain it would happen again. After all,her dress was provocative - the sort that guys would often make the comment of âshe was asking for itâ. But she wasnât wearing the dress for them. She was wearing it for bother herself, and for Cody. She wanted to give him something to look at as they danced, and she also wanted to feel sexy, to feel like she had power over her boyfriend tonight, for with just a single movement she could have him swooning, longing for her to take him off to the side of the room so that they could get a few moments of alone time. âYou know Iâd never do anything to hurt you, right?â She said, her voice soft now as opposed to laced with seduction and teasing. âNo one in the whole world is ever going to take me away from you.â She gave his knee a small squeeze before shifting her gaze back to the road.
âIf we pull in here to park the clubs just round the corner.â And indeed tonight was going to be busy. After all, she could already see the queue for getting in - good job her friends were already inside, for it meant that her and Cody had a guaranteed place in the hotspot of the night. âJust be yourself when we get in there, okay? I feel in love with you for who you are, and I know my friends will adore that same guy.â She was only saying that though because she was feeling nervous. There were little butterflies in her stomach - because what if her friends didnât like him? What if they didnât see what she did? He was her world...she couldnât be without him. But she also knew sheâd never be able to make a decision like picking between her friends and her boyfriend, if the question arose. âI love you.â
No doubt loving the feeling of Lilyâs lips upon his, it was something he was neglected from feeling just a few minutes ago and he could have gave her the most tell-tale pouty face ever. But, his pouty face was no match for hers and it always seemed to do him in and cause him to drop anything and everything he was doing just to cater to her every will. Lily was his one and only. His princess. His queen. his forever girl if he were to be that exact. The one that was always on his mind. The one that could never be replicated. Hell, even the one that he himself could see growing old with and having a family with if they could stick it out for the long haul and overcome any and all obstacles tossed their way. The way he saw it? It was Cody and Lily versus the world. Cody and Lily were on such an intense level that no one could even come close to scratching the surface of the very magnitude of love they had for one another. In a way of being hip, no one could âget on their levelâ. Which that alone was a real driving force to everyone just to display how much these two were committed and loyal.
âWell then, letâs take our lovey-dovey ass to this party and show everyone just how much of a supreme and incredible couple we are, hmm?â Cody spoke with a mix of excitement and playfulness intertwined into one while the two made their way out of the house and along the concrete pathway from the porch to the driveway itself. Seemingly getting in the car at the same time and almost closing the car doors in unison, the two seemed to have such a mindset and parallel between them that was fantastic. He loved it. Clicking his seat belt in place and locking the car doors, Cody listened to Lily speak up once more as he started up the car and let the engine warm up a bit before shifting into Reverse to pull out of the driveway. Pressing the brake once the car was out of the driveway and onto the main road before shifting into Drive and now committing to their plans of driving off to see her friends. âOh yeah? Well Iâll make sure to keep a lookout for Sophia then in case she gets a bit too forward? Iâm sure if anyone gets too close, youâll go all wildcat on them or something. Claiming your territoryâ.
Could words really describe how intense their love was? She didnât think so. Because even as she told her friends of Cody for the first time, even as she told them how in love with him she truly was, every single one of them had said the same thing - they knew that her feelings were true because of the look in her eyes. They said there was a light there, a light that showed how pure her love was. It was the same look she had whenever she caught his gaze, whenever she was around Cody and she knew the look in his own eyes mirrored that of her own. Both of them had faults, there was no denying it. In Lilyâs case, it was her emotional tendency. Anything was enough to set her off, sad or happy, yet it was something that he managed to accept about her. Because both of their faults made up who they were. And it was at a point now were faults didnât seem like flaws at all. Tey were just part of one another. Tonight though, sheâd hold back that emotion, because she had something else on her mind - the thought of how amazing their night was going to be once they returned home, after both of them had done far too much teasing. Cody did seem like the one who would struggle the most with keeping his hands to himself, but Lily could be just as surprising, especially around him where she just wanted to permanently be close to him, to hold his hand, to kiss him...to make love him.
âSophia might get forward, but I wont get mad. I know what sheâs like.â Lily mused, gently placing her hand on his knee as he drove, stroking it with her thumb. âBut if any other girl tries to make a move on you, I will be sure to put her in her place. Because youâre all mine and I donât like to share. Youâll have to watch out for me too. Itâs not often I go out in such a short, tight black dress. Itâll certainly be a shocker to everyone, that Little Lily is actually quite grown up...but I like watching you get all protective over me. Itâs really, really hot.â
âI think this is the best picture Iâve taken in a long time. Iâyou are very photogenic..â
Lily felt herself blush lightly. âIâve never really had anyone take pictures of me before.â
âAlright, no problem. I will simply shower them with affectionate notations and compliments about just how much Iâve fallen in love with a woman who can both woo me in the bedroom as she can outside of it. A female that from the first time I laid eyes on her, I couldnât take my eyes off of her. A female that Iâve fallen head over heels for and one that when I asked you out on a date and if you would be my one and only, it was the best day of my life. You have no clue how much you mean to me and I will always tell you that. Always. Youâve made such an impact on me and my life that without you in it, Iâm nothing. I have my DJâing career. I have my Bartending career. But all of that is for the money and to pay the bills. You, Lily, youâve given my life so much more importance and depth that I wouldnât feel the same, nor would I feel complete without you in it. I love youâ. While her arms instinctively wrapped around his shoulders as she had said this, his wrapped around her waist to truly give the two a much needed and necessary closeness. Staring deeply into her gorgeous hazel eyes, Cody couldnât help but smile.
Seeing just how close their faces were becoming and how her lips were just millimeters from his, Codyâs instinct lead him to close his eyes and expect there to be contact. But, he was lead astray and her playful words, if not teased words only signified just how early of a teasing intellect Lily would inflict upon him. Already neglecting him of kisses and the night was still young. No doubt about it, Cody was in for one hell of a night. Unwrapping his arms as Lily aimed to walk off to collect her bag, Cody leaned to the side to watch her underwear hug up against her folds, absolutely believing she bent over as much as she did just to get him revved already. Well, it was definitely already catching his attention. But the last thing he wanted to do was pop a boner around her friends. That could be embarrassing. âIâm coming, Iâm comingâ Cody playfully responded back as he left to go to the kitchen and grab his keys off the key plaque before returning to Lilyâs side and the two leaving his apartment to be on their way.
If you had asked Lily a couple of years ago if she believed that she would ever get married, if she would ever settle down and have a family she would have told you no. Not because she didnât want to, but because she believed no one could ever fall in love with her and give her such opportunities. Her upbringing was one that was extremely abusive, and every single day she was told by her parents, the two people in the world who were supposed to love you unconditionally, that she was a mistake, that they would be better off without her. And after hearing that time and time again, sheâd started to believe those words. Lily had started to doubt that anyone could ever actually want to be around her, let alone offer her forever. And yet here Cody was, telling her how much he adored her, how important she was in his life...and it made her heart flutter and her head spin. âI love you too.â She said softly as the two of them went downstairs, the brunette waiting by the front door for the return of her boyfriend. âI love you with all of my heart and you really are the best thing that could have ever happened to me, ever.â And even though she was intending to tease him all night, in that very moment a soft kiss pressed to his lips felt very much needed, and so she kissed him tenderly for a few moments before pulling back, smiling. âMy friends are going to be all over you.â
Cody was definitely easy on the eyes. Anyone whose anyone could see that. But to top it all off, he could be a real gentleman when he needed to be. He made Lily feel like a princess; his princess. And it was a truly beautiful feeling. The two made their way out to the car, Lily sitting down and making sure that her dress was riding up just a little too high before she looked over at him. âI think Sophia is going to be the worst though. Especially if she has a few drinks - because then sheâll have no filter. Sheâll say whatever thought comes into her mind and sheâll be up on tables dancing. But sheâs very lovely, and a lot of fun. I think youâll like her.â
The thought of Selena sleeping over at a guyâs house made his skin crawl, the thought of Selena staying over at a guy like thatâs house made him almost grab his keys and go burn down the house so he didnât have anywhere to stay. âShut uâoh, whatever, Selena. Youâre not going to listen to me anyway. But, just, fuck, at least hang out with decent people.â
She tilted her head. âHeâs a decent person to me. Just because we got high together doesnât mean heâs a bad person. He makes a mean pasta salad too.â She laughed, shaking her head. âWhat is wrong with you, why are you so damn protective over me?â
âI know Iâm just your step-brother, or big brother now, or whatever. But, that guyâs bad news. I donât want to have to pick you up that late at his house again like last night. And donât think I didnât smell the weed all over you. Youâre just lucky Iâm not telling your mum, or my dad..just, be safe, yaâknow?âÂ
Selena rolled her eyes, looking over at the older male. âMaybe he is bad news, but I like him just the way he is. If you donât feel like picking me up that late from his house again, then Iâll just sleep over.â She smirked. âAnd we all know what will happen then. Iâm as safe as safe can be, donât you worry about me. I may be younger than you, but Iâm not five.â
