Marinette is the Among Us Queen

Context: Tobias, the American psychology teacher and Hummingbird Miraculous Holder has set up a game of ‘Among Us’ for the class remotely as an exercise to see how they respond to the concept of a traitor in the midst and seeing how well they know each other.  The group has just come together for the first vote as Alya has been eliminated from the game.

Marinette: "Alright, who did it? I'm not mad, I just want to know." 

Rose: "...I did, I'm the impo-" 

Marinette: "No, no no you didn't.  Nino?" 

Nino: "Don't look at me! Look at Chloe." 

Chloe: "WHAT? I didn't do it!" 

Nino: "Funny, how'd you know she was dead?" 

Chloe: "Because I found his body!" 

Nino: "Sus." 

Chloe: "No, it's NOT!" 

Kim: "If it matters, probably not, but Adrien was the last one I saw in Engineering with her."

Adrien: "Kim! I have that on my task list!" 

Kim: "Oh, really? Then why were you in there for a second time?" 

Adrien: "I was fixing a sabotage, everyone knows that!" 

Rose: "Okay, let's not fight, I'm the imposter!" 

Marinette: "No, who killed him?" 

Chloe: "Marinette, Tobias has been awfully quiet." 

Tobias: -who has been taking notes this whole time for grades- "REALLY?" 

-an argument breaks out in voice chat as a Tobais gets a text from a student- 

Marinette: "I killed her.  I predict in ten minutes they'll be at each other throats with war paint and pig head on a spear.  It was starting to get a bit too easy."

Akuma Idea: The Imposer

So, while France is still dealing with recovering from the Pandemic, Tobias is able to introduce ‘Among Us’ to the class as a psychology experiment to see how well they know each other.

As they all play from home, Among Us quickly becomes a great diversion for them all from the craziness of the world, but it quickly becomes clear that Marinette really does know her classmates well and is able to point out the imposter most of the time (her blindspot being Chloe naturally)... and it’s clear that someone isn’t taking it very well, thus gets targeted by Hawk Moth to become a new Akuma: The Imposer.

The Imposer is able to make a space station appear in France and demands from Ladybug that the she bring several of her friends with her to the station as they’re going to play a little game.  If they don’t all arrive, then well, the station is armed with a laser.

Marinette has no choice but to comply, but makes a large batch of the Space potion for her friends, just in case.  After which, as Ladybug, she calls Swift and Noir to help distribute the miraculous and meet at the station.  Once inside, Imposer uses a gas to knock them out and take out the first hero, taking their place.

From there the space station goes into low-earth orbit as the heroes wake up.  They are informed that one of them has been replaced and have to find out who before the Akuma takes them all down and steals their Miraculous for Hawk Moth.

The group now gets tense as they don’t know who to trust as the heroes get picked off one by one by The Imposer, caccooned in a hidden area of the space station.  However, The Imposer can’t replicate the special abilities that the heroes have, but covers themself by saying it’s too dangerous for them to revert back to being a civilian.

it’s 4 am, I just woke up for work, and thanks to @garr9988​ suggesting a Miraculous Ladybug/Persona 5 crossover, I just had a really zany dream featuring another ML crossover.

Basically, at this point Marinette has gotten over her stumbling around Adrien, and have just started dating and for some reason are going in together on buying some kind of hangout room together at a local business (think kinda like those Karaoke rooms in Japan, but for hanging out). Marinette tho has this issue of accidentally saying her thought process when it comes to Adrien aloud to him, which he finds cute.

Well, somehow we learn that a few months ago Thanos was defeated when one of the Infinity Stones was removed from his gauntlet.  Since then, Stark has somehow been able to keep tabs on the Mad Titan and the Infinity Stones and reports that now whenever he tries to use one, he can use it once before it vanishes from the Gauntlet and arrives back on Earth.

To locate the stone, they consider having someone use the Soul Stone (which was purple for some reason), only for Stark to remind them on how unstable they were last time.  So instead they had Lex Luthor (who was actually helping Stark with no malicious intent) use the Mind Stone (which was blue).  

Somehow, Marinette is alerted to the missing Infinity Stone separate from Stark and starts to hunt for it starting in her apartment; she thinks she might have found it, only to realize it’s a toy one that’s apart of a Fantastic Four toy set.

Luthor eventually makes it to Marinette’s apartment and is able to disguise/shape-shift into her grandfather and during a bit of an intense scene of the two trying not to tip the other off that they’re scouring for the Infinity Stone in her apartment, Marinette suggests going to the bowling alley to distract what she thinks is her grandfather.  Luthor agrees, muttering something along the lines of ‘a bowling ball…yes, why didn’t I think of that?’, revealing he’s working on a device as well which he may need a bowling ball for.

Tobias & Dipolmatic Immunity

So, watching the Today I Found Out video on diplomatic immunity, I realized that Tobias could be afforded a minor version of it known as ‘functional immunity’.

You see, since Tobias was sent to Paris by Victory/the president herself with a task of reporting back on the villains and heroes of France, technically, he is working in the capacity of the US government and thus does require some legal protection in order to properly do his job.

While Tobias thinks it’s just a formal thing, he doesn’t realize any damages that are not repaired by the Miraculous Ladybug and can be pinned on Emerald Swift can be charged to him, however the formal immunity protects him.

Additionally, he’s allowed a ‘Diplomatic Bag’ that he can carry documents and other things safely away from the prying eyes of the French government.  This means in addition to a legally safe place to store his reports, Ottomi also has a safe place to hide if need be.

This is a huge collab done with some of the folks in my spidersona discord, it’s meant to resemble the first issue cover of Spider-Geddon!
