An gift for @mattdrawsmen​, I took his mimikyu gijinka Parker and turned him into the Phantom Thief known as Doppel

After the defeat of Medjed, as the Thieves watched their popularity surge, a new name popped up on the Phan-Site: Ikkei Adachi, a well known theater director.  The request claimed he was not only taking all the glory and credit for the plays he directed, but also lacked any respect or care for the crew’s safety.

Wanting to investigate, Yusuke was their main lead as he remembered another Kosei student who was doing course credit work for Adachi’s latest play; Parker.

Parker was working as almost the one-man outfit department for the play, tailoring almost everything to Adachi’s demands; however Parker’s timid and shy nature kept him from speaking up against the treatment that he and the other cast members were getting.  When Yusuke asked him about Adachi, he was willing to open up about the situation at the theater and provide the location of the show.

Entering the Palace, the thieves were shocked to find it to be a massive classical theater, similar to the location, but far more exquisite and grand.  They were able to navigate their way through until they reached the main stage of the theater where they found themselves barred from entering as they weren’t part of the cast.

This left them at an impasse; it was too late in the play’s practices to join as extras and change Adachi’s cognition like they did Madarame.  What they weren’t expecting was in their second trip in to accidentally bring Parker along.  Due to his being part of the show, the shadows left him alone until he caught up with the Phantom Thieves where he offered to help them by navigating them under the stage through the prop storage area.

This lead them deeper into the theater until they were finding themselves in catacombs lined with torches.  It was here that the thieves ran into Shadow Adachi who openly berated Parker, relishing in his pleasure of making the quiet teen squirm until...

“This isn’t your show.” Parker would speak up, face still looking down, “You act all proud since it’s your vision, but refuse to acknowledge those of us who brought it to life!  We put blood, sweat, and tears trying to meet your standards, yet you still brush us aside!”

In that moment a voice came to him.

Are you truly content with sitting in the shadows, watching the show go by without you?

You’ve hidden yourself under a mask as to not risk what you love.  Tear the mask off and taste what the world has to offer!

You know the part, mastered the lines, perfected the delivery!  Step into that spotlight for the role of a lifetime!

With what the rest would consider the bloodiest mask tear, Paker assumed a new role, that of Doppel and his Persona La Fantome.

After locating the treasure in the Palace, the Phantom Thieves make their daring heist, only to find the ground the treasure is on to start to raise, going up and up until they realize that they’ve been taken to the main stage of the theater with Shadow Adachi.  His goal: make the defeat of the Phantom Thieves the ultimate performance.

n the final boss fight against Shadow Adachi, they realize they’re unable to cut the spotlights to give them an upper hand, leading to Doppel to suggest the inverse: if Adachi wants the spotlight so bad, crank it up and blind him.  Joker agrees and sends Doppel to the light booth to do just that...

It’s easy to remember that like all normal fire departments, Burning Rescue works on shifts.  It took the crew of Burning Rescue a week to notice that Galo was actually missing as he missed his shift.

So, who works at Burning Rescue when the other members are off?  Well, I have one right here: Colt Blaise, The Adaptable Sniper

Formerly a potential recruit for Freeze Force, Colt found himself on the bad side of the government-supported militia when he insisted on treating the Burnish like humans and valuing de-escalation over force.  This resulted in him being blacklisted from most fire departments, but only one was willing to hear Colt out regarding his dishonorable discharge and interview him: Burning Rescue.

Now a member of the Burning Rescue crew, Colt’s role changes depending on the state of the fire when the crew arrives, but always revolves around his rifle and minimal armor.  If the building can still be saved to a degree, Colt’s job is to get in and cut the fire off from spreading and encase flammable chemicals from the fire.  However, if the fire has spread too much, Colt’s secondary duty is to assist in securing escape routes through extinguishing flames or keeping structures together with his foam-crete rounds.

With MinMin making it into Smash as the ARMS representative, I felt the need to jump my own OC!

Lariat was inspired by real-life US Marshall Bass Reeves which I pushed to be an ARMS contender with rope themed arms!

So, I decided to revisit an old idea I had for a Voltron OC: basically a space lawyer.

Meet Hammu Attis, an Imuk-Enak lawyer who was investigating his client’s case when he stumbled upon a lost piece of Altean tech: an exo-suit with a Bayard nearby.  Picking the bayard up, he accidentally powered the exo-suit which trapped him and returned back to the Castle of Lions.

Hammu’s arrival was a shock to everyone, but Princess Allura revealed that after the success of creating Voltron, King Alfor looked into creating smaller exo-suit versions for more planet-side combat in battles, but was thought to have been lost.

As the team’s law expert, Hammu is a bit straight-laced, but really loves hunting for legal loopholes in plantary laws that can give him and the Paladins leverage and protect them from prosecution.

The update to Octane with a new outfit and new Persona!

In the escape from Kaneshiro’s Bank Palace, Joker and the other Phantom Thieves found themselves driving the Mona-van off the edge of the floating island, only to crash land back in reality.  However, the damage from their stunt was done as the next day Morganna was in severe pain.

Unable to afford a vet trip, they realized the only way to possibly solve their problem was to hire a mechanic to work on the Mona-van, however they weren’t sure who they could trust…that is until Makoto remembered a 3rd-year American student who’d transferred the year before named Oliver Lowe who worked at a local garage.

Tracking him down, Akira was sent to go convince Oliver to come look at his van.  It took a bit of coaxing, but the student mechanic reluctantly agreed, following Akira to the subway line where they activated the Metaverse app to take the gaijin into Momentos.

Upon arriving inside the Metaverse, there was an equal level of surprise from Oliver as well as the other Phantom Thieves as Oliver’s clothes had changed into those of a Phantom Thief.

Questioning him, Oliver explained that when he was kid, he and his mom were in a terrible car crash that killed her and that he should’ve died in.  The witnesses claimed that a guardian angel saved him, but Oliver was left with a nasty scar on the left side of his chest.  

Growing up, Oliver had felt like he’d had a parent stole from him, but his anger only had grown as he got older when he learned that the man responsible for the crash, an esteemed film director who was drunk at the time, got away with the crime, fueling more resentment and rage in a pre-teen Oliver.  That rage and rebellion had marked him as a possible Persona user.

As for his persona, while non-corporeal, Morganna theorized it possibly was his Persona awakened, having done so all the way back during the car accident as a child, the ‘guardian angel’ that save his life.

Eventually, Oliver eased into the situation at hand and would take an initial look at the Morganna bus, seeing several places he could make them run more efficiently.

Upon his second trip into Momentos to actually work on Morganna, the team was ambushed by several waves of Shadows.  However, Oliver refused to let Morganna turn back to assist, pointing out neither of them knew what would happen.

Constantly looking between the engine and the thieves, the American could hear a voice speak to him…

“It appears you’re realizing the power that revenge can fuel... let the thrill and adrenaline of the danger pump through your veins... Will you dive head-first, charging in with reckless abandon?  Seems like you’re enjoying the danger... you and I are going to get along just fine... Thou art I and I art thou…”

Tearing the goggles from his face in a moment of adrenaline, Oliver would charge the shadows, in a move not even Skull would consider, his Persona fully awakened and joining him in literally charging the Shadows and sending them scattered from a shotgun blast from Kelly, a chain now in Oliver’s hands…

He was now Octane.

On the team, Octane fills the role as the adrenaline-filled daredevil as well as the expert driver of the team.  He’s willing to go past what’s reasonable in a plan, much to Queen’s displeasure; however, Octane does keep it within reasonable limits in order to make sure that Joker doesn’t scold him too much.

In battle, his Persona Kelly specialize uniquely in physical and ranged attacks.

As the US Tour came to a close, Vero presented Allie with his most complex weapon to date: the DJ Deck/razor disc combo Scratchback.

Controlled by the arm-mounted deck, Allie can use the flying record to attack enemies from a distance, but also use it to keep them from getting too close as well. He can throw it out to combo a distant enemy, and while the disc is returning, switch back to a different weapon to deal with a closer enemy and to keep the combo going.

As the supernatural forces targeting Allie got stronger, so to would his armory.

Adding Rolling Thunder to his loadout, the idol now has the ‘heavy weapon’ slot filled with this slow-moving, but heavy-hitting hammer. When Allie needs some room to breath, he can switch to Rolling Thunder to send enemies away or stun them dedpending on the combo.

The further Allie got onto the tour, the more he became outnumbered by various undead and demonic forces, forcing the creation of his next weapon: Deep Treble.

A double-handed axe/bass combo, Allie goes to this one to deal with larger groups of enemies, getting wide sweeps out of it and launching enemies.
