I glanced to the other redhead with a smile and replied “No, I guess not. I’m Lea, got it memorized? What’s yours?”

I laughed a little at her comment, but I sighed again at her question and rubbed the back of my head. “It’s nothing…. he’s just, uh, going through something right now and it’s a little hard for me to talk about.” A rough time that made it seem like he’s forgotten our life together and how close we were at one point. After the war, I’ll save him and all this will be over and we can live happily again. I realized I had gotten lost in my thoughts and smiled to her to let her know I’m alright.

“Oh…” she said feeling bad for bringing it up. It seemed he was in his memories. Man, it must be serious. Though he soon got out of it and smiled. “If ya need help with yer friend I’ll gladly lend you my aid,” she said, “but I hope you two can figure whatever is going on,” she smiled reassuringly. “Anywho, where was that ice cream place you were talking about?” she asked him trying to cheer him up.

Her reassurance was helpful even though it still hurt. But, I couldn’t say I wasn’t happy to be off the topic of all of that as she brought up the ice cream. “Yeah, just over there.” I pointed to a sign read ’Ice cream’ on a building just up ahead.

“Oh wow it was right here!” she chuckled. She walked up to it, “I’ll try the sea salt ice cream please!” she said happily excited for this new item she was to try. Usually chocolate and sea salt went together so how bad could it be, “and I’ll buy whatever he’s having,” she said pointing to Lea.

\Raquna was allowed to stay in he village as no possible way of getting back in her time seemed possible for her. The only thing she could do was go searching where she came out of but she didn’t even know where that was! So she was stuck. Luckily no one back in her time would worry. She was walking around in her armor as she refused to wear kimonos and other Japanese clothes she was given except at night and special occasions. Today was neither. She felt the towns people were use to her presence now, finally. Raquna liked to patrol the town for any danger. She was just at the temple when she saw a familiar face. How could it not be him? She ran over to him, “Lord Sesshomaru,” she said reaching him, “I was wondering when we would next meet,” she smiled.

“Hmmmm?"He hummed almost as he stood in front of what looked like a tiny shrine for someone. A human woman in fact and Kagome had placed what looked like a picture of a little girl at the small alter within the shrine. As for the other, he thought she had died, as he was certain he had wandered off for a while. ”…. Did you recite the answers to your inquires?“

He seemed surprised to see her, and Raquna wondered why. “Uhh ya,” she said, “sadly it seems like there is no way of me getting home...” Not even the well brought her back. “Actually, I was wondering...” she wasn’t sure what his reaction would be, nor if he could actually help her, “do you remember where you found me? I know it was a forest but... I don’t know where since you teleported me here somehow,” she said. “Maybe if I walk the other way through the forest I’ll be brought back to my time, at least that’s what I’m hoping... “ she said. “Do you think you can help me?” she asked looking up at him with her red-orange eyes.

I smiled and giggled a little. “Hm? Lots I suppose. This brown haired boy and his boyfriend I think? I don’t know, he’s got silver hair. Then there’s my best friend Roxas and…” I paused and sighed a bit before adding a little quieter “And then…. there’s Isa…”

“If their your friends I would think you would know theirs names,” she laughed. She noticed him mention a name quieter. Was he embarrassed? “Who’s Isa?” She asked him, “I mean ya don’t have to tell me if ya don’t want…” If it was personal then she didn’t want to force him to tell her at all.

Raquna lay in the grass looking up at the stars. It was lovely to just get away from the city and breathe fresh air. It wasn’t too cold,it was actually refreshing as a soft gentle breeze blew by. She had her hands behind her hand as she watched the beautiful stars twinkle above her head. “Ain’t it nice?” she said outloud, “I wish I knew more about the constellations and stories behind them.

She listened to his poor story. She felt sorry for him. He had been through so much tragedy but at least now he’s making the most of it. But his whole village.. It was probably a hard burden on him to keep living, especially since his whole family is dead. No wonder he was silent….

“I never thought you were broken. People can be silent ya know, like introvers ya?” She said. “And I’m glad you can be open around me, maybe it helped release some of the burden?” She said raising an eyebrow. “And honestly its my pleasure ya?” She smiled again, “if anything happens we have each other. You have my back and I have yours. There will be no death near us, ya?”

He chuckled a little, but then put on a fake-serious look. “You tell anyone about this, I’ll have to kill you~” He wiggled his free hands fingers at her making a soft ‘oooo’ sound as if he was being scary. Finally tilting his head again, he added “Just kidding.” Seems some parts of his ‘habits’ were pretty normal and not a cause of his burden.

However, he finally scooted all the way in, pressing himself lightly against her and wrapping his arms around her, cuddling up to her. “No death. Deal. We’ll go to the labyrinth tomorrow and find the cause of the swarms. We’ll make it back.” He nodded lightly, resting his forehead against her’s, a soft smile on his face.

“Thank you, Raquna.”

He went serious again but she knew he was just kidding, and when he said so she laughed. He embraced her in a cuddle like fashion and she commenced to cuddle back. “Of course we’ll make it back!!” She said, “I’m sure its just some monster cause an uproar nothing we can’t handle.” With a medic and herself that’s all she really needs. Sure an alchemist is great for heavy hitting but if they were just going in the first stratum, hopefully, then they would be fine.

She let his thank you hang in the air as they sat cuddled to each other under the night sky. “We should get some sleep ya?” She said. “We don’t know how far nor how strong we’ll be facing tomorrow.”

He nodded some at her statement. She was right, sleep would be good. Tomorrow they’d go to the labyrinth and do their job. He’d show her not only how good a boyfriend he could be, but how good a partner as well. Determined now, he fished in his satchel for something. “I have something for tomorrow…” He took out a Grimoire stone, and showed it to her.

“Its the only one I’ve found… someone dropped it, I think. I haven’t figured much out about it. I don’t even know what it does. I think it’s lucky though. Good things kept happening after I picked it up… I even met you.” He smiled a little. “That’s why I was out at the Labyrinth that day. I had found this stone there while I was gathering herbs. It’s obviously important-ish, so I held onto it while I napped. It brought me luck when you came and saved me.” He blushed lightly, eyes looking into her’s.

“Probably sounds dumb.”

“A grimoire stone,” she said a bit shocked. How did he find it? Usually you would have to fight to get them and he didn’t seem like much of a fighter, well he did alright, but still... maybe he did fight some creature... . “If ya want we can get it analyzed and see what abilities it has before we go tomorrow. “Do you know what they can do?” she asked him a bit curios to see what he know. “I like to keep a couple on me,” she said opening a pouch that had similar looking stones in it, “they give me different abilities when I use ‘em. Quite handy these little stones!!” she said.

Ahh the club fair. Raquna was a part of the rugby team but this year she didn’t have to work the table so she decided to look around, maybe join another club if she had time.

She noticed the jocks, they were sorta her friends… They would flirt with her a lot partially...

She looked over at the boy with a bit of a surprise look on her face. She was expecting more of a thank you than a ‘join my club.’ “Sorry, I don’t read a lot,” she replied. She felt a bit sorry for him though, after all he was bullied and she was pretty sure he didn’t have many friends. She took a second to think about the pros and cons of the book club. Did she have enough time anyway? Aha! She thought of a solution. 

“Do you have a phone or email?” she asked him. “I may not join your club but I’ll gladly be your friend, if that’s alright,” she said with a smile. “If you are being bullied just text me or whatever and I’ll come help you! And I’ll eat lunch with ya too! To be honest I’m sick of those girlie girls that hang around me,” she said. “What do you say?” she asked with a twinkly in her eyes.

“What word?” She asked. It was odd. He was speaking English fine… What word did he not get? Stereotypes maybe? “A demon lord?” She repeated. Alarm bells rang in her head but she tried to calm them down after all he was helping her. Maybe he was the one who attacked the village in the first place? But he did said he fought for himself and no other….. Ughh this was just confusing..

He wasn’t speaking English he was speaking Japanese as the Westerners had yet to even fathom discovering Japan, it wasn’t even on their map.

He wouldn’t have attacked anyone with whom did not attack him first or any of Rin’s descendants.

He didn’t reply. “You in there?” she said waving her hand in front of his face. It was a bit of a reach since he was taller than her but she was able to. Hopefully he would zone back in.

He turned his attention back to her.”I am not inside anything. I suggest going to speak to the owner of the hut.”He pointed at the building before he turned to leave her there.

“Uhh okay?” She said. Guess she had no choice since he was leaving. Was this where that Kagome lived? She wasn’t sure. Guess she wouldn’t find out until she entered. And so that’s what she did. “Hello?”

Raquna sighed as she sat on a cliff looking down on yet another city. Maybe it would be okay to settle down somewhere, but what would she do? No one needs a Guardian anymore. But she just couldn’t settle down either… she would need a reason. And what if she made no friends? That would be pretty lonely…. Then again she was more lonely travelling any who. She let out a large sigh.

A loud yell came from somewhere nearby. A teen with redish orange hair was being chased by a monster. “H-HELP!!”

She heard the cry of help and quickly got up. She pulled out her sword and ran in the direction the cry. Soon she saw the orange haired teen as well as the monster. “Get back behind me!’ She yelled to the boy as she prepared to attack.

The teen hid behind Raquna and whimpered. “P-Please…kill it!”

The boy seemed to be in shock. She charged at the monster and tackled it with her shield so it went flying. "Run while ye can," she said glancing at the boy for a second.
