What do you update?

Everything! Sometimes, Erik related activity. But mostly, video uploads, character lore, etc...

Who operates this?

I'm Dany. I run other Update Account blogs on tumblr and I've been watching Redacted since late 2021, and I've been involved with the fandom since summer of 2022.

Do you update stuff related to the Patreon?

Yes and no. This will be a situation to situation thing. However, I will not, ever update about anything that is posted behind a paywall for a reason. I will not disrespect Erik's wishes, so I won't post about BA's, certain upcoming content, links to private streams, etc... (if you have any specific questions about this feel free to ask!)

Do you post updates about the characters?

Yes! That is more or less the point of this blog!

How do I start watching Redacted?

The answer to this will defiantly be different from person to person, but personally I started with the "Everything" Playlist, it's all of the videos in a playlist in the order of release. But if you don't want to start with that, you can start with character/story playlists. Starting with either Freelancer Season One (Gavin, Lasko, Damien, & Huxley), Vincent, or David and explore from there! There really isn't a "right" way to watch Redacted, so whichever way you choose will probably be best for you :)

Yeah, Erik has a podcast with his friend Odie. The podcast is not about Redacted, they are totally separate things, but sometimes Erik will talk about Redacted related things.

Can I tell Erik about your blog?

I mean, technically yeah you can and I really don't think Erik would care...however, getting an Erik notice or his attention would honestly really freak me out lol so I'd rather no one bring it to his attention for the sake of my anxiety

Hi. I have come to the decision to take a step back from this blog.

I'm not going to go into details, because it honestly doesn't matter. To make a long story short, life has gotten very busy and exciting for me, and simultaneously, my attention to Redacted has changed. I'm not able to spare the time to even listen to most audio's these days. It saddens me, but that's part of life.

That being said. I don't know if I see myself coming back to this blog, or to the fandom in the future. I think my journey with it, ends here.

Thank you all to those who supported me. I enjoyed my time here, and with this community <3

Happy New Year, everyone! I planned to post this on new years, but I didn't manage to make it in time. Thank you so much for making my 2023! the love and support I've gotten with my fanart has fueled me to make more art. This blog has meant a lot for me- As someone who draws for a living, I've lost the joy that I felt from drawing for fun. I always look forward to making more Guy and Honey comics after a long day of school and work; it's been such a respite for me. It means a lot for me that there's people out there reading and looking at what i make :") And I hope that I can keep doing that this year, too.

redacted 2024 updates !!

summed up from patreon but i only included things that would happen on yt/for everyone so everyone knows what's coming & what to look forward to in 2024 :))

- schedule changing from (yt release) tuesday and saturday to wednesday and saturday (this has already begun)

- bonus audio previews, reductive audios, livestreams etc will be made IN ADDITION TO audios and not instead of audio uploads

- there'll be more anthology themed audios - they will be smaller anthologies but will be more common !!

- in february, valenweek will be back and it'll be an anthology flashback to couples first valentine's days (im screaming)

- in april, there'll be an april fool's anthology where we'll get a role-reversal AU (IM SCREAMING LOUDER OMFHFFJHFHDHFHDHFHD IM SOOOO EXCITED FOR THIS AAAAAAAAA)

- there'll be a new series called redacted 101 (out of character obviously) talking about/explaining various topics such as magical cores and threads, shifters, vampires - basically just explaining how things work and going into deeper detail about them etc

- erik will be updating the website

- updating merch as well and possibly putting it on other platforms so it's more accessible for everyone

- he'll be finishing up old stories and making new ones

this man SPOILS us sm gosh i'm so excited for everything to come :')) that's all !!
