This blog is for Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma! I've noticed there is a lack of GoA fanfiction and I am not here for it. I need substance and I will feed myself if I have to!
Without further ado...
What I WON'T do:
Incest of any kind, any sort of -philia, character x character. If it's something I don't list, feel free to ask! I will tell you if I can't.
What I WILL do:
Angst, fluff, smut, one-shots, isekai, imagines, ships. General darker themes are a bit more restricted but I am willing to try yandere, shattered glass versions and dubious.
Anything I post that has anything worth tagging will have a warning at the very top of the fic! You lovelies are responsible for deciding whether or not you're comfortable with what's within.

I am not entirely up to date on all the modern fic slang but I will try to tag as I know. Please be patient, I am from the era of Fanfiction.net!
I will write for all the bachelors and bachelorettes. The other characters, unfortunately, are not included. 16 characters is going to be more than enough for me to write for!
Warning!: Cursing, dark themes (yandere), talks about manipulation, kidnapping, allusions of murder, threatening behavior, general themes you'd find when reading about yandere.

It's time for a small change of pace. Darling readers, be mindful of the warning list! Minors DNI!
Murasame:
- Violent, worshipping yandere. One of the more dangerous yanderes. 9/10 on the danger scale.
- Good luck on this one. He's easily the one that turns to violence most easily; he's already shown that he's willing to turn to dirty means to get what he wants and had to be dug out of it by force. It's doubtful that anyone will be able to dig him out of this one; even his goal to reestablish his family name comes nowhere close to how desperately he wants to make you his spouse.
- He sees you as his other half and loves you so completely that he can't stand the thought of you being hurt. Stalks Follows you around, careful not to be seen. Any competition is staked out; if they refuse to back off when he talks to them, they can't be found the next day. What happened to them is a mystery.
- Your chance of escape is higher than with others but he also has a higher chance of pursuing you wherever you go; he's not locked to one village or Azuma itself so he can search for you for years even if you do escape.
- That's only if you ever realize what he's doing. Murasame is not a stupid man and he doesn't act any different than normal around the villagers or you. He feels a small amount of guilt for what he does but he truly believes he's doing it for you.
- He was but a wandering swordsman but he was sure of one thing: he was born to be by your side, his fate to be your sword and your lover. That's why fate brought him here, to you. He's meant to be yours and you're meant to be his. He'd do anything for you.
Mauro:
- Dependant, delusional yandere. Probably the scariest for the fact that his yandere behavior is no different than his normal behavior. 5/10 on the danger scale.
- The only clue you might have is that he starts calling you nicknames before you start dating or he might slip up and talk about how he had someone he already worshipped.
- In his eyes, once he's completely gone, you were his newest treasure, someone he had to chase and admire. Only, unlike the physical treasures he leaves behind for others to claim, he has no desire to let go.
- He's sure you have to view him the same way. The way you smiled at him today after he gave you a gift- oh, he could just tell! You loved him just as much as he loved you, even if you didn't know it yet.
- Hina is the only one who might be able to see his love is a little more obsessive than normal but even she doesn't realize how deep it goes; she tells him to cool it a little and he's just a little more careful how he comes off. It wouldn't do to scare you!
- He follows you around. But this is canon behavior of his to start with, pushing himself into others adventures and conversations, so nobody thinks any different of him. He's not a violent person but if you choose someone else while he's around... suddenly, nobody can find you or him and his airship is gone. When you two come back a few days later, nobody knows what he did, but the two of you were dating and you had broken up with whoever you chose. Hina thinks it romantic, believing he had won you on a romantic trip. Oh, if only she knew...
Ikaruga:
- Manipulating, isolating yandere. Probably the most dangerous one out of all of them to be a yandere. 10/10 on the danger scale.
- As a mystic with deep connections, if he really gets into the act, escape from him becomes almost impossible.
- He's a great actor, too. Against the average person, nobody would ever know he has lying about what he's doing. He makes sure not to go anywhere near Hisui, however, whenever you're near; that old woman would give him away immediately.
- At least one of his Jingasa or Shikigami follow you around. More than likely, you'd never even know about it, not unless they show themselves to you willingly or someone like Hisui happens upon you while you're being followed.
- You likely wouldn't know he was a yandere until it was too late. He's a little clumsy around you but there's no other warning signs. By the time you realize that he's isolating you, it's too late.
- Is the one most likely to spirit you away, frightful that you'd leave him like his master. He would not hurt you physically; he loves you too much for that. You would, however, very quickly develop Stockholm syndrome and a dependency on him, that he'd make sure of. You only need him, don't you?
Cuilang:
- Harmless, obsessive yandere. The least dangerous kind of yandere. 1/10 on the danger scale.
- He doesn't understand half of his emotions enough to know he's a yandere. He won't speak on them, either, especially not to you, knowing the thoughts he's having aren't normal.
- Comes around your house a lot, always in your space, trying to find reasons to stick around.
- He hates it when you go to other people. People kind of chuckle it off when he tells them he'd rather be the one who helped you and to not to do that anymore.
- He comes off very innocent crush to most who know him, not knowing the deep obsession that lives in his mind at all hours. He has a doll of you and paintings of you tucked in his closet, probably steals borrows items from your home and puts them in there, too.
- He has no competition because everyone around him ensures he doesn't. Cuilang is loved and everyone wants the best for him. You'd end up with him, if only be peer pressure and being set up over and over until you stopped fighting it. The only one who might see it would be Yachiyo but even she won't say much; suspicions are only that and you both looked happy so what was the point of digging?
Subaru:
- This very much depends on whether he's the Earth Dancer or the Black Dragons Rider. Regardless, he's a monopolizing, dependant yandere. Earth Dancer!Subaru is 4/10 and Black Dragon!Subaru is 8/10.
- Earth Dancer!Subaru is the hero of the people; he holds the trust of the gods, the love of the people and the reputation of a man whose only ever done right. Even if you tried to ask for help, nobody would really believe you; they'd go to him first.
- He goes out of his way to spend time with you every day. He gets jealous easy and cuts in fast when he sees other people around you. He only wants you to look at him. He wants you to look up to him, to only want him.
- Not violent about it. He'll simply spend more and more time with you until you have no time to even think about anyone else. You can't make promises or form bonds with others when all your attention is on him.
- Black Dragon!Subaru is a different beast. His guilt and fear makes him so much more threatening. You become his light, the one he latches onto. Unlike with Kaguya, who he distances himself from, he digs his claws into you tight and refuses to let go.
- He doesn't think he deserves you. He worships you endlessly, grows dependant on your attention and care. Don't you get it? He needs you so you can't leave him. Gods know what he'll do if you do. Black Dragon!Subaru isn't above getting his hands dirty to make sure you're his alone. He's already a monster in his eyes and he can sink no lower.
Kai:
- Impulsive, strong-arming yandere. Honestly, he's the one you'd spot coming from a mile away; it's incredibly obvious. A solid 5/10 on the danger scale.
- He never really thinks about his actions, barreling into everything without finesse; his actions as a yandere are the exact same way, enacting them without thought.
- He isn't inherently about to become violent. However, he does have oni on the surface that are willing to be, even without any compensation. He'd never sic them on you. But anyone who becomes interested? That's a different story. It's the one of the few smart things that he might do as a yandere.
- Now if that fails, he's going right to his competition. They won't say what he said or did but suddenly, they're not going within ten feet of you. Kai is surprisingly terrifying when he tries to be but he won't dirty his own hands unless he absolutely has to.
- He's also surprising sensitive about rejection but he's just bull-headed enough to continue pursuing you even if you say no at first. Yachiyo tries to tell him to knock it off but even she can't stop him this time- you're worth more than anything she could threaten. The only outcome from that is that he stops being so aggressive around her; there are easier places to come onto you without being nagged.
- Eventually, when you finally agree, just like his first dating event, he's going everywhere and telling everyone that he was dating you but x10 loudness and aggression than normal. He finally has you and nobody else would take you from him.
Kurama:
- Manipulating, sadistic yandere. One of the worse ones you could have as a yandere, due to his strategic and cunning mind. 9/10 on the danger scale, only a point lower because he hesitates a lot.
- He has no particular signs of being a yandere besides being seen staring at you at lot more than is normal for him. Ironically, it comes off as him having a problem more than him having an obsession at first. Even more ironically, Kai is the only one who sees it as a crush and nobody believes him.
- Views winning you like a Go game. He sees all the stones clear, targeting the most necessary ones first. He's not cruel; he won't ruin your reputation but he will be carefully putting you into situations where you have to be near him rather than your friends and his competition.
- If you've seen his dating events, then you'd know he's a lot smoother than his sharp tongue shows normally. His sadistic side comes out more when he's yandere for you, saying the damnedest things to see how your face changes and flushes, enjoying the panic and confusion in those adorable eyes of yours.
- His experience with his own social isolation makes him very reluctant to go too far. He won't destroy your reputation or isolate you; his own trauma won't allow him to do so.
- Escape will almost never cross your mind because he's not cruel nor will you likely ever figure out what he's doing. He'll win you and you'll never know the difference between being played and doing it of your own free will.
Fubuki:
- Delusional, obsessive yandere. 3/10 on the danger scale, shooting up to a 7/10 if rejected.
- He has more signs than Kurama but less than Kai. Those closest to him, the gods, can tell that something is off about him when it comes to you but most of them think it's just a very intense crush for someone who never had one before.
- Thinks about you almost all the time, about 22/7. The other two hours is his work and even then, he's reminded of you when he sees certain things.
- Gifts. So many gifts. You're given at least one a day: a pretty stone, a icy flower, a fat thigh of meat, anything he finds that he thinks is beautiful or good and wants to share it. The highlight of his day is when you smile at him.
- He's planned your wedding the day he gained his obsession. He's already picked out his outfit, practiced what he'll say and how many kids he'll give you once your wed... spoiler, it's a lot. His twin left a mark but he's sure the family the two of you will have will be different- he'll make sure of it.
- Try not to break that delusion. The day he learns you found someone else or you turn him down, he goes insane and it's like before the Earth Dancer rescued him: frozen rivers and lakes, harsh weather, and a monster of a wolf prowling the wasteland. He won't hurt anyone on purpose; he's not that kind of man. But he will make everyone's lives absolutely miserable until you come to your senses and choose him instead.
Camping out with Pilika; hunting, gathering, sitting around the fire eating and exchanging stories.
"Your strike struck true. I've barely seen anyone get their prey first try; it hadn't suffered at all. I'm quite proud of you. You're a great hunter. Here- maybe you can assist me with the preparation and the cooking? I know we already have some of it cooked but I don't want anything to go to waste. And then, maybe you can tell me where you learned that technique?"
Cuilang going out of his way to travel to your home to check on you after hearing that you were sick.
"Excuse me. I don't mean to intrude but... excessive heat detected. Are you alright? Your temperature is much higher than it's supposed to be. You're sick, aren't you? No, don't get up. I told you when we started dating I wanted to learn to take care of you. Allow me to do so. Now lie back. I'll get a cold cloth to lay on your forehead; I heard that it feels very good to people with fevers."
Having set out on adventure and getting lost, only for Kanata to track you down with her butterflies and getting the scolding of a lifetime for making her worry.
"Do you have any idea how worried I- we were?! There one minute, gone the next and nobody knew where you were! They searched all day for you! The others only just told me that you vanished and I- you- how can you be so careless?! Never do that again; my heart can't handle it! I thought I'd lost you!"
Staying out drinking at Yachiyo's and being harassed by a passing tourist, only for Kai to step in and save you.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?! You think you're tough? Get lost before you embarrass yourself! Hey, you okay? Tch, come on, let's have another round and I'll walk you home. Sit next to me this time; creeps like that go after people who are alone. Just think of me as your oni sized security blanket!"
Clarice sharing her favorite foods from her home village with you.
"-Oh, and this one was always my personal favorite. Veyron always taught me to eat different things, to expand my tastes, but if I had it my way, I would eat it every night. It's the flavor of my town... and it's even more special to me now. I never want to forget the flavors of my home. And now, with you, I want to be able to cherish both the past and the future."
Fubuki, upon being told that you like his ears and tail, decides to make you an offer that you aren't expecting.
"Thank you for going out of your way to meet with me in my shrine; I know you've been busy recently. I couldn't help but notice that you have been stressed recently. And, well, you've shown interest recently in my ears and tail... That is to say... would you, um, like to pat them? If it might make you feel a little better, I'd be happy to let you touch them for a while. D-Don't worry, you don't have to if you don't want to. I just wanted to extend the offer."
Matsuri trying to get you to move to Summer Village because she wants to see you more after gaining a crush on you.
"Why would you? Why not?! It's super awesome around here, we have hot springs and we have THE best festivals! And since I'm the god of this village, we would get to hang out so much more if you moved over here! So hurry up, get your things and get over here already! I have so many things I wanna show you!"
Ikaruga sending his shikigami to check on you after hearing a troublesome rumor and taking you out later to ensure everything is alright.
"I'm glad everything seems to be alright. When I heard earlier that you might be in some trouble, my chest went tight. It's nice to finally be able to breathe again, knowing you're safe. Hm? What rumors? Ah, just some stupid secret admirer stuff. Don't worry about it, okay? Let's just enjoy this udon together for now."
Kurama agreeing to come out and participate in a festival only after he learned that you would be there.
"Why on earth would I want to go out and fish in the cold for hours on end when I have a new game I've been meaning to- wait. You said who is participating? Ah. Well, now that I think of it, I am still missing a crucial piece for my newest game. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad to... engage in something new while I search for it. Fine. I'll be there."
Iroha calling on you whenever she thinks of something new because she trusts you explicitly and will always go to you first.
"I know I was just talking about using chocolate filling but I was thinking I could use a honey filling instead! What do you think?! Will you come and try it out with me later on today? I think it'll be a big hit!"
Ulalaka unwittingly making her feelings for you clear while she heals your wound with her kamiwaza.
"Oh, no! You're wounded! Please hang on a moment. You know, even if it's something small like this, I don't want to see you in pain. I wish to see you keep smiling in the way only you can; my heart dreads the day you might no longer brighten my life with your presence. So... promise me you'll be more careful. Okay?"
Murasame offering to walk you between villages anytime he sees you heading out, both wanting to protect you and spend time with you.
"Ah, just a moment! I see you're about to set off for Winter Village. I have business there with Watarase and Zaza, you see. If it pleases you, we could make the journey together; I would quite enjoy the walk and the training. Pray, what say you?"
Hina learning you've never had Iroha's dango and dragging you to the tea shop immediately to correct it.
"I can't believe you've never had dango, much less never tried any of Iroha's! How long have you been living here?! Don't answer that, it doesn't matter! Come on, get over here! I wanna see your face as you take that first bite!"
Going out on what was thought to be a guarenteed grand adventure with Mauro that ends up only being disappointing, only for him hug you tight when you the time to part comes.
"Don't look so disappointed, Amore! I can't speak for you but I'm so happy. I always knew but it's only been made more clear by this experience that no matter what, the greatest treasure will always be time with you. Grazie!"
Kaguya refusing to give up on you, no matter what, even going out of her way to make sure you're safe, situated and happy.
"I know you've been having a bit of a rocky time recently. If there's anything I can do to help... you know, I find a walk in the forest really helps me gather my thoughts. Shall we go together?"
