What is this? What is this from? Why do thousands of people know what this is. Apparently it’s Romanian. What is it??
They’re the lyrics to the song Dragostea Din Tei by Moldovan pop group O-zone. It was a very popular song in the early 2000s
We’ve finally reached the point where the old memes are too old for today’s generation… Fs in the chat.
For any wretched zoomers…one of the original viral videos aka the finest of vintage memes
We must not despair as long as we are here, we can teach the children about the ancient texts

That time T got epically drunk and completely forgot they had brought Michael along with them.
Franklin finally learned how it feels to think about parents and sex in the same context.
Now, who wants to see the outcome of this particular outing? 😏
videos that changed me as a person
Doctor: [singing to oneself]: Tka tka tooh, do do do do do do, de do do do do do beow beow beow beow beow beow buh nuh, bah dah buh buh buh buh, hey!
Someone else: Hey!
Doctor: What?
[for context, the plague doctor is scatting/humming the intro to the song ‘Come and Get Your Love’ by Redbone, transitioning into the beginning lyrics that the offscreen voice accompanies them on]
I gotta say that since COVID-19 hit I have been surprised by the number of people who just seem to have plague doctor masks and cloaks just...lying around?
i figure not that many people actually get arrested so i took on the burden to bring you these scenes
Hosea (Part I)
Just going to place this random character study squabble here because I’ve fallen into the rdr2 pit so late and this quarantine needs remedy–
I feel like a lot of people seemed to forget that Hosea was actually a very hot-tempered man. Yes, he did care deeply for the gang, and yes he did hold a voice of reason, but there were moments he also managed to be bitter and irate. He would get violent during certain outbursts–pointing a gun at Bill, and kicking Sean whilst he scolded him. There were also interactions wherein he discouraged Lenny from the possibility of change or redemption, a projection of–I believe himself, what with his experience of being together with Bessie.
Like many other characters in the game, he was humanly flawed.
Cunning, pessimistic, snappy and sometimes just as idealistic as Dutch.
What really defined him in the end, however was that Hosea was willing to drop his ideals, and his pride, and did what he could in the best interest of the gang. If anything, that is what made him a father figure of the group. Not because he was some good, gentle-spirited, wise-talking old man–but because he was a hardened, experienced, old person who, despite all that, decided he was going to put his family above all else.
I bolted upright in the dead of night in a cold sweat, sensing that someone, somewhere was writing character analysis of Hosea
I definitely feel like it gets overlooked sometimes that Hosea can be bad-tempered and a little frightening – AFAIK he actually gets physically aggressive in camp more than any other character (!).
More than just being bad-tempered, though, I think the contexts of these interactions say a lot about him. He gets so angry at Sean because he catches him not just shirking work, but endangering the camp by falling asleep on guard duty, and Hosea’s top priority is the safety and wellbeing of the gang. Similarly, I think he gets annoyed at people not pulling their weight because less work = less money, less food, etc.
In the one where he pulls the gun on Bill, he initially tells Bill to go away, but Bill leans forward and says “Excuse me?” like he’s trying to start something, and that acts like a trigger for Hosea whipping the gun out. This one is the most interesting to me, because even though he’s mad at Bill being a clown, he’s probably also learnt to do this. A gunslinger didn’t get to 55 by being a pushover; you had to be tough. When you’re a criminal hanging around with other criminals, you learn to bite back at potential threats, or else others will perceive you as weak and therefore a target. This isn’t so much a problem within the gang, where most people have known each other for years, but Hosea’s probably picked this up as a consequence of the criminal lifestyle in general, and once you learn it, you don’t really un-learn it.
To me, how Hosea behaves in these interactions is, to some extent, a reflection of the life he’s lived: he doesn’t take any shit not just because he’s Sassy Granddad (though he is that too), but because this is how hardened outlaws learned to protect themselves in a cutthroat world. One of my favourite things about Hosea is that as fierce as he could be (and had to be), he still retained his humanity and capacity for love over the years, which not everyone did.
IM SORRY DUTCH?? WHAT WAS THAT?
