This ship is disgusting tbh, and I can see where your coming from. People rather an unhealthy relationship then a healthy one or a pair of characters that have actually have had more scene's together while Richie and Connor had one scene and it was pure toxic!

I see a lot of people calling the Light Fury misogynist and bland but no one calls her what she really is, a gold digger. Seriously, people ask why Toothless is king of THW but the Light Fury? What has she done? It was made clear she was an ordinary dragon but then she brings Toothless to THW and she automatically becomes the queen of dragons by default? Being a gold digger matches her personality, she wouldn't want Toothless to go back to Hiccup and have her fancy new status taken away

The funny thing is, the Light Fury did exactly one selfless thing for another dragon in the form of warning Toothless about the trap, despite not knowing him and despite having woken up only seconds ago. This is exactly one more thing than Toothless does, even though Toothless is the alpha. She also doesn’t endanger other dragons’ lives knowingly or directly, in contrast to Toothless who ordered babies into cages. 

But yeah, Toothless in THW has literally nothing going for him aside from being alpha and being able to draw. He’s a slobbering, panting puppy who doesn’t know how to lead, lives with the one thing in the world Hidden World dragons hate the most, accidentally insults the Light Fury several times, and not-accidentally tries to knock her off a branch. She’s deeply unimpressed with him more often than not, only seems to accept him after he pulls off the lightning trick, and most of the scenes that showed her enjoying him as a person were cut. Pretty sure she’s in it for the status.
