Theory on what Luz's palisman is going to be:
Since noone has mentioned this idea before (at least not to my knowledge) I thought I'll just put it out there.
So a lot of people think she will make a bird palisman, me included. However a lot of people think that she'll either make an owl (because OWL house) or a blue jay (since there I one in Dana's profile picture). Both of these ideas make a lot of sense especially since the palitrum wood Eda got for Luz is blue. Though I think she'll make a different blue bird, a 'blue bunting'.
Blue Buntings belong to the family of Cardinalidae. Guess what else belongs to that family! You're right(maybe) the Northern or Red Cardinal who happens to be Hunters palisman. I think it would be one more interesting parallels between Luz and Hunter, besides the 'magicless', the 'cursed caretaker' and the little demon to complete the trinity.
How did I happen to stumble upon the Blue Bunting?
I looked at all the blue birds that love on the american continent and stumbled upon it. Now there are multiple blue birds that belong to the Cardinalidae family, and yet I chose this one. Why? Well does the Blue Bunting look somewhat familiar? I'll give you a hint:
The Blue Bunting does look quite familiar to this little fellow, doesn't it?
The first screenshot from the show is from season 1, sadly I forgot which episode exactly but Hooty said he swallowed a 'sparrow?' right before spitting out this bird. And I don't know about you guys but I've never seen a blue sparrow.
The second screenshot is from the looking glas ruins episode in season two right as they entered the ruins.
Also this little birds (the one from the show) specific shade of blue does look a lot like the shade of blue Luz's palitrum wood has:
So yes my conclusion is that that bird from the shows screenshots will be Luz's palisman and that this kind of bird is most likely a Blue Bunting (or a Lasurcardinal which also looks quite similar and while typing this I realise that 'Lasur-' kinda sounds like 'Luzura/Asura(Azura?)' so maybe that is that specific kind of bird. My conclusion that her palisman will be the bird from the screenshots still stands. I'll add a picture of a Lasurcardinal)
So I just checked and apparently Lasurcardinal is just a different name for Blue Bunting (it's actually called Lasurkardinal in German).
