well i'm back. @taylorswift idk if you still use this but i'm gonna be talking to you here. i've spent the last nine years trying to make friends on twitter in different fandoms i'm in, and it's never really worked. i've ended up in a few toxic group chats that ended terribly. i have a small group of friends who like 5sos, and a best friend who loves hockey and you (and also 5sos but not as much as i do). we actually have matching twitter names, i'm speaknow5sos and she's folklore5sos. besides these few friends though, i'm just kinda done trying. maybe i'll make a friend on accident, which would be cool. but stan twitter is so scary and toxic and has been for years. i hate seeing it all when i just want to come online and see things i'm a fan of. so i'm trying this tumblr thing again. maybe you'll see some of my posts, or maybe i'll just be talking to myself like i do on twitter. but at least here i don't have to worry about nasty replies or private quote tweets making fun of me. i may also post some sims stuff here because i love sims lol. anyway, i love you taylor. thank you for always being a constant source of positivity in my life

So, who else here struggled to pick up the “go away, you’re not wanted” social cue as a kid, which has made them so overly cautious as an adult that they end up having cool conversations with cool people but don’t want to be too friendly in case they’re missing the cue, and so end up making those cool people think that you don’t want to be friends with them?

Because, like, this is the Number One Thing that has fucked me up as an adult and I am so grateful to my friends who didn’t stop talking to me while I slowly figured out that, yes, they did actually want to be friends.

My Mods & Sims 4 Legacy Edition

As you are probably already aware, with the Sims 4 University Patch Nov 12th came the Sims 4 Legacy Edition for Users with 32 bit Systems etc.

My current Mods are not all compatible with the Legacy Edition and future patches will make them more and more incompatible.

So i did undo all changes of the latest Patch and made a “Legacy Version” of all my Mods. Like the Sims 4 Legacy Edition these Mods will not get any more future Updates exept fixes probably.

Only download these Versions if you have the Legacy Edition installed!

Not So Berry Legacy Challenge

Do you like the rainbow? Do you like the idea of playing with berry Sims but hate berry Sims? Do you want to mess around with aspects of the game you’ve never used before? Boy, do I have the challenge for you!

Welcome to the Not So Berry Legacy Challenge, a ten generation legacy with a focus on bright colors and new experiences.

Basic Rules:

Each heir must represent the color of the generation (i.e. hair, makeup, clothing), but brightly colored skin is not necessary (these aren’t actually berry Sims, that’s the joke). Of course, this is optional but a big portion of the fun.

The colors of the spouses don’t matter as they aren’t part of the challenge. Unless otherwise stated you can do whatever you please with them.

Money cheats can be used, but not excessively. Suggestion: use freerealestate for your first home, but no cheats afterward.

You may live wherever you please unless something is specified in the rules of a generation.

Every generation is supposed to complete both the career and aspiration of the heir unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Keep the lifespan on normal.

These horrible icons all over CC?  The CC filter…just what was wanted.  This thing all over catalog thumbs and swatch thumbs?…not so much.  There is a mod at Studio forums to get rid of it if you feel the same way.  Get it HERE.

Fashion is made for skinny people and oversized clothing is made for skinny people and tall boots are made for skinny people.

Of youre a fat person and you want to wear any of these things you either arent going to be able to find it or it wont fit you quite right because designers dont actually care about designing things for fat bodies.

The only thing out there thats actually made for fat people is tummy control jeans. And those things are fucking awful.

If youre a fat person interested in fashion youre meant to squeeze yourself into the smallest thing that can possibly fit you so that you might look just a little bit smaller so people can be like oh you look like you lost weight to your face and then behind your back mock you for the inch of back between your shirt and pants and how you obviously dont dress your size.

And if you wear anything baggy or loose people will be like oh what a gross monster. You obviously dgaf about your "health."

Like there is literally no way to win.

And of course theres the sexualization that goes into fat bodies. Like show a little bit of titty with a fat body and people will throw a fit like your whole nipple is sticking out or wear a short skirt with a fat body and people will act like you flashed grandma.

Fat bodies are policed so much harder than skinny bodies and its just super upsetting to know that no matter how cute I look and no matter how many pieces of clothing I save I will never really be allowed to capture the look I want because people will never see me as some cool fashionable person but rather a gross nasty lazy slob.
