4 years ago i had a friend. a classmate. i loved them, i loved spending time with them and their presence. it was a unique platonic relationship i cherished. but, in due time we grew apart. they sat somewhere else in class one day and, that was it. after i graduated high school, it was too much. i cut off contact with everyone. i dont regret it, i would do it again. but somewhere, i wish i hadnt cut off this person. so i tried to get in touch with them.

they really value themself and their time. they used to be very secretive, about their social media, about their personal life, crushes, etc. i didnt mind, i was glad to have them as a friend.

turns out, they've blocked me :/

thats a bummer but, its okay, i can text them on instagram. i did. i asked them why they blocked me. they said they did that everyone from high school, and i understand that, but then they said "nothing personal, you just had a dark energy".

idk what that means. i think i was an adequate friend? we spent a lot of time together, watched heartstopper at my house, made gifts for my then girlfriend together as she was moving away. idk what was dark about me. now, idk what to say. do i tell them im bi now? that my pronouns are they/them now? that so much has changed in these three years that i have become almost unrecognizable?
