umm... I want to hear yalls that 70s show controversial opinions...
Okay, so some people might hate me for this, but I believe that if it weren't for Ashton's brilliant performance, no one would like Kelso.
Kelso can be sweet, but he's also selfish, and he did some pretty messed up stuff on the show, like hitting on Donna and Jackie constantly -- even when they were with someone else, cheating on Jackie with Eric's sister, acting like an ass when Hyde and Jackie started their relationship, and honestly many more things I can't remember at the moment.
I like Kelso, but he made me pretty angry sometimes lol
I agree.
Kelso had two chances to redeem himself. The first began at the end of season 3, where he truly began growing and changing, but that ended during the second half season 4 to set up Jackie/Kelso’s breakup (because Jackie/Hyde’s relationship had been planned for season 5).
In season 6, Kelso has another major growth-change arc, but he still exhibits bad and inappropriate behavior toward his friends.
With Brooke’s exit, Kelso reverts back to type -- but not completely. He quit cheating on his girlfriends, as far as we know. Of course, he had only one girlfriend in that season: Angie.

okay, I'm going to be kicked out of the fandom for this but...
hyde is kinda overrated. (don't get me wrong, he's one of my favorites. but I think that since he is the favorite of the general public, people tend to ignore the things he did.)
the way fez's character is portrayed is xenophobic.
kelso was the only one with a plausible and acceptable ending.
eric is funny and all, but his arc is boring. the only thing he did was date donna.
donna had everything to be the best character, and my fav, but they chose to portray her as a tedious love interest. (also, the writers didn't understand the concept of a single woman, because both donna and jackie were almost never single.)
donna and jackie's friendship deserved better.
jackie shouldn't forgive cheating, at least not so easily. (yeah, that includes hyde.)
kitty is the best character. period.
angie, brooke, buddy and wb deserved more.
the members of the gang can be really shitty friends.
season 7 was bad, just not as bad as season &.
kitty and red are the best couple.
donna and jackie (and basically all the female characters) were unnecessarily sexualized.
and last, but not least, I need therapy because I love this show and it's frustrating.
but these are just >MY OPINIONS<.
Yeah now that I look back at it Eric didn't do a lot in the series when he was supposed to be the main character.
All he had going for him was that he dated a chick that was 'way out of his lega'.
That's another I didn't get, it was always made out that Eric was lucky to have Donna because she was hot and he wasn't, like what? Eric was a good looking guy with a good personality why did he always get the short end of the stick when it came to his and Donna's treatment on the show?
Also Donna and Eric's (in my opinion) was overrated, sure they had some cute moments but as the show progressed their relationship didn't, in fact it got much worse, all they did was fight, Eric would apologise for being a 'dumass' and they would make up rinse and repeat for 4 seasons and shit starts to get old.
It lacked any real substance after season 3 and became boring to watch after season 6 which I such a shame because I really liked their relationship's development in seasons 1, 2 and 3.

okay I agree ^ and despite that he’s one of my favorite characters
alright here’s another one: donna is one of the best characters on the show
Justice for the love of my life, Donna

DID YOU GUYS SEE MILA AND ASHTONS HOUSE??? I am foaming at the mouth.
to this day it hurts to think about how buddy morgan was supposed to be a RECURRING character on that 70s show and possible LOVE INTEREST for possibly BISEXUAL eric foreman but the audience was too homophobic 🤢
