Please, spare me. I’m aware that I can’t escape, not permanently at least. I think I’ll enjoy these nine months free from talk of a younger sibling and then deal with this when the time comes. You went on your road trip to get away, consider this my version of that.

Jesus fucking Christ, can no one keep their goddamn mouth shut! Look, I said I fucked up, and that I’m sorry. I don’t think the way others do, and I thought you were staying in Deering, so I would have seen you when I went back for Thanksgiving. I’m assuming Nora is the one who told you about the baby, since I’ve only told two people. I wasn’t broadcasting the fact that my mom’s pregnant. I haven’t even gotten used to the idea myself. So, be mad at me for leaving without a word, but I’m not sorry I didn’t tell you about the baby. I was sort of hoping if people didn’t know, I could keep pretending like my life wasn’t about to change for…God, the fiftieth time this year.
