What are some of your character’s hobbies? What do they do with their time? Nora spends a lot of her time on Judo conditioning and competition, but she's also into keeping her body in shape and staying healthy. So, when she isn't working on her Judo, she's probably running, participating in a yoga class, participating in a zumba class, doing some indoor rock climbing, or swimming laps at the local pool.
Favorite color? Turquoise, she loves the ocean.
Favorite music artists? Movies or TV shows? Books or authors? Actors? Nora likes classic rock and some of her favorite bands are; The Beatles (of course), The Who, The Doors, AC/DC, Fleetwood Mac, and Pink Floyd. Nora doesn't have the patience for movies and she rarely watches TV, but she leaves the TV on whenever she's home, and prefers to keep it on the cooking channels. Similar to her taste in music, Nora enjoys classic novels, such as; The Great Gatsby, To Kill A Mockingbird, The Lord of the Rings, Jane Eyre, 1984, and The Poisonwood Bible. As far as actors, Nora is a big fan of Aly Scott, especially since she recently met the actress.
Political stance? Are they active in politics or do they not care? Nora tends to keep her mouth shut when it comes to politics. She doesn't keep up with the news these days, but she was never one to get sucked into the drama, especially not around election time. Nora is able to vote, but she has never registered, nor does she intend to, because in her mind she is choosing between the lesser evil, as she does not believe any government is ever going to be perfect.
What are some of their pet peeves? Her biggest pet peeve is when people mistake her for Nina, she understands that they look identical, but she maintains that they're easy to tell apart because of slight differences, and their choice of clothing is very different. She also can tell when someone, other than herself, has been in her room, and that really gets on Nora's nerves. She's very organized and neat, if someone touches something in her room without her permission, Nora will notice immediately. She also can't stand it when people try to throw something away, miss the trash can, obviously see that they missed the trash can, and then just walk away without picking up her litter.
What sort of gifts do they like? Sentimental ones, the kind that can't really be store bought, she would, however be excited to receive antique or vintage picture frames--she has a lot of photos that still need a place to be displayed!
What is their favorite time of day? Favorite weather? Season? Since coming to L.A., Nora has been heading to the beach very early in the morning, to watch the sunrise. She has really come to love the warmth of the sun accompanied with an ocean breeze.
Where do they like to spend their time? Nora loves being at the beach, she loves the ocean, and if possible, she would more than likely spend all of her time out in a boat on the water. Or, she would settle for living on a remote island.
Favorite food? Favorite drink? Hot drinks, soft drinks, or alcohol? Nora loves tomatoes, raw, fresh marinara sauce, fried green tomatoes, it's not unusual to see Nora popping cherry tomatoes into her mouth and eating them the way others eat potato chips. She drinks a lot of tea, hot and cold, she likes the different flavors they come in, her favorite would have to be green tea, though. Unlike the rest of her family, Nora doesn't drink a lot of alcohol, but when she does, she likes a whiskey sour.
Favorite animal? Sea turtles.
Do they have any pets? Do they want any? Nora would like to get a turtle as a pet, eventually.
What relaxes them? Whenever Nora is feeling stressed she will go for a run and then hop in the shower and use her lavender oil afterwards, rubbing it on her temples.
Do they have any bad habits? Nora always checks her e-mail at bedtime. She doesn't mind it, but she's been told it's actually really annoying by her exes.
