So, given that out of everyone in your family you weren't completely crazy

You are still crazy, just not as much as your brothers and father and not about this

However, because your brothers and father see you as nothing but a harmless little bahy who needs them they don't take you protests at all seriously

So you try to warn everyone about what they have planned

Cue you getting magically drugged while your family goes off to do their plan

They want you nice and safe and out of the way

If someone manages to sober you up in time then you would fight against your brothers and father, mostly your brothers

They would refuse to acknowledge you made this choice on your own

Like they would just think you're being mind controlled or something

They just don't accept that you're not helpless

You get a power upgrade and kick your brothers ass

You get close and then because it cost too much energy you give in a bit early

They'll try and hold you in their arms and act like this was all a game

Anyone who's ever seen steven universe, that scene where steven and the audience first meets white diamond and she brushes off the rebellion as a game, that is what these two are doing

Either you get saved or you manage to pull enough energy to beat them

Honestly after everything, Reader gets a deccent ending

But with your family still around your peace will eventually be shattered

Your brothers will keep coming back to try and take you

While your father directs them from his prison

But at least now Gunsmith Bitch has hooked you up with a proper weapon or two

Honestly, your family will never let you go until the day they all die

And even then they'll try and get you from whatever afterlife exists for angels if there is any

What’s a Fromsoft level that, from a story and symbolism perspective, completely devastates you and eats away at your soul? For me, it’s Drangleic Castle from DS2. The existence of this place fills me with unfathomable sorrow and I will care to elaborate with text below this pretty image:

The fact that it sits atop an isolated hill, the emptiness of the rooms, the petrified soldiers, the ghosts and the rain all highlight the sense of dehumanization, isolation, loneliness, loss of self and overall confusion present all throughout this game (especially in, but not only, Nashandra and Vendrick’s relationship). This is a place where more than one person lived, descending towards insanity, for decades and decades rotting in either borderline psychological abuse or the awareness that the world is falling under a curse they do not fully understand, and that everyone is desperately trying to find a cure for, but with no avail.
