Recently, Nutella launched a chocolaty event at Bugis+, Singapore, for a week. The #yournutella event received a huge turnout. It was a huge success.
This year, Nutella will love to bring something personal to an individual even closer. Nothing like personalising the Nutella label with your name. Goodbye to ‘Who ate the cookies in the cookie jar’ situation’ or labelling your food with post-it.
There was a short list of instructions that one needs to head before getting their hands on their personalised Nutella. First one has to make an upfront payment of S$5.00. In return, you will receive an empty Nutella plastic jar and join a queue while waiting for your turn. It took me approximately 40 minutes which brings one to the next step, and that was to type out a name within 9 characters, small caps only, no punctuations nor numbers. After typing out ones name, it will then appear on a huge screen acting as a Nutella label. There, one is able to visualise how the final outcome will be. One was encouraged to take a photo with it as it will only appear a few times for 30 seconds each. Next, one was to put their empty Nutella plastic jar on a conveyer belt which will go through the huge Nutella. 10 minutes later, Tadaa! Your personalised Nutella will glide out on the other end of the conveyer belt filled with Nutella, which was once empty, and of course with your name on it. That is my Nutella with my name on it. Pretty neat.
I am satisfied with everything, from the service to the process. It is an ideal gift for your friends, family, partner. I believe they will love it. 2 cents from my thought is, it will be a nicer touch to put one personalised Nutella in a plain white plastic/paper bag instead of a bright yellow smiley prints plastic bag.
