Excerpt:
The ringtone was coming down the hall, and so were screams of horror. Dean knew that scream from anywhere. It was Cas! Dean sprinted down the hall to Benās bedroom. He twisted the knob and swung open the door.
Dean had seen a lot, but he wasnāt prepared for the sight before him. As much as he hated himself for it, he froze. There was a ghost, another ghost. Its fleshy body was that of a snake. A wrinkly, bumpy snake. Its body filled the room. It was on the floor, under the bed, over the bed, and on the floor again. Twist and turns of tube-y flesh consumed the room.
The jaw of the ghost was unhinged, its mouth stretched to impossible lengths. Its nose and ears looked like those of a small child, but its eyes were pitch black. That wasnāt even the most disturbing part. Half of Cas was in its mouth as it was slowly swallowing him, inch by inch.
The top part of Cas was still there. His back was on the floor, one arm flailing as he tried to beat the ghostās head. His friend looked up at him with wide, terrified eyes.
āDean!ā He cried, and that was all it took for him to snap out of it.
Dean ran past Cas and the ghostās head. He jumped over its body until he reached the bed. The body pulsated as it inched closer and closer to Cas. Dean raised the machete above his head and swung down as hard as he could.
The monster let out a muffled hiss that rumbled all the way down its body, but it kept going forward, taking another inch of Cas. To Deanās horror, when he lifted the blade, the ghost was unharmed.
Shit! Shit! Shit!
The ghost couldnāt be killed this way.
Deanās mind scrambled how he could kill the ghost. It was hard to think, though, when Cas was screaming, and that stupid, fucking ringtone kept playing on repeat.
Di-de-di-da-di-de-do-do
Di-ba-di-de-do
Di-de-de-di-de-de-de-do-do-day-bi-di-do
Di-de-di-da-di-de-do-do
Di-ba-di-de-do
Di-de-de-di-de-de-de-do-do-day-bi-di-do
(Yeehaw) here we go
Dean ran back, forgetting about planning anything. He was panicking too much to think straight. He dropped his weapon and grabbed Casās wrists. Cas grabbed his. Dean tried tugging the guy out of the ghostās mouth, but it was useless. The ghost had swallowed Cas up to his chest. Deanās heart was hammering in his chest. If he didnāt do something and fast, the thing would eat his best friend.
He let go of Cas and pulled himself free from his hold.
āDean!ā Cas pleaded.
Dean didnāt answer him. He straddled the ghost. Cas was screaming, Dean was shouting as he punched the ghostās head, and cheerful hamsters were singing because Amy would not stop calling.
āDean! Dean, please help me!ā Cas cried.
The thing was getting closer to swallowing him whole, and nothing Dean did was working. So, he did the only thing he could think of and shoved his thumbs into the ghostās eyes.

In the state of Washington, under a near-constant cover of clouds and rain, there's a small town named Forks. Apparently, itās Deanās home for the next six months. Great. Just when theyāre close to finding Maryās killer, John benches Dean to bumfuck nowhere, giving him one rule: look after Sammy.
When Dean enrolls Sam in the local high school, he has a strange encounter with one of Samās teachers, Mr. Castiel Novak. The manās erratic behavior makes Dean wonder if maybe this is a hunt and there are, in fact, supernatural monsters in Forks. But as Dean gets closer to Cas, he finds himself unnaturally drawn to him. When Cas saves his life from a runaway van, leaving behind a large imprint that looks oddly like wings, Deanās defenses start to crumble, and before he knows it, heās falling hard and fast for the creature he should be hunting.
Are you a fan of Twilight? If you are, this is the right place to be!! But just in case you're like Dean and not too thrilled about 'sparkly vampires', this is the right place to be as well. Why? Because this story is far better then the original. The way the author weaves those familiar quotes and plays around with the plot is simply masterful, Destiel-izing the story we all (or some of us) love and cherish. Trust me when I say it, once you read this story, it will become one of your top favorites.
The way Dean is portayed in this story is absolutely amazing. We see that old Dean we all know and love, the one that is a little trigger happy, but learning to exist without his father's constant influence hovering over him like a sword. The more time goes by, the less affected he is, and the more he sees that things aren't always so black and white.
Castiel is a strange creature, different than the humans he exists around, but far more similar to them then to some of his siblings - not that he doesn't have a wonderful family. A family that is more than willing to greet Dean (and Sam) with open arms. Well, most of them anyway.
In the end, I'll leave you with a quote from the author's notes: "Welcome to Twilight, if it were gay angels instead of teenaged vampires, and the only 17 year old is Sam."

Castiel and his husband, Crowley enlist the help of rare omega to conceive and carry a child for them. Castiel is hesitant ā their relationship is already on the rocks ā but unwilling to disappoint his husband yet again, he agrees to spend a weekend with the omega. Itās just sex, right? What could go wrong? Dean. Heās confident and charming, and everything Castiel is not. In a lakeside cabin, away from society and outside distractions, Dean quickly breaks down Castielās carefully constructed walls, stirring up emotions he wasnāt prepared for. What starts as an unconventional arrangement, soon turns into something more, forcing Castiel to chose between his heart and the life he has always known.
Don't let that summary fool you, this is not a simple romance, oh no. You see, while this does somewhat involve consensual adultery when it comes to sex, the emotional attachment was never in the contract⦠Or was it? We are talking about Crowley here, the Kind of the (Crossroads) Deals. And he doesn't take kindly to being screwed over. Figuratively speaking, of course.
But I am getting ahead of myself.
The story does start like a really sweet and awkward romance where, after a week spent together, Dean and Cas just fall in love. They are just so perfect for each other. Dean makes Cas feel valued while Cas makes Dean feel cared for. Just makes your heart swell reading how good they are together.
Dean is the kind of an omega who needs money and is willing to do a lot of things to get it. He is willing to do a lot for his family, as always. He isn't just a weakling, but he is trapped, first in his monetary situation, then in this surrogacy. Still, when push comes to shove, he will fight for what he cares about. Even for his possible new family.
Cas is⦠Well, he lets Crowley get away with a lot. But when the last drop hits that overfilled glass, there is nothing that will stop him from making sure his husband doesn't ruin his life.
And then, it is action time. Wild and exciting, the story will take you on a rollercoaster ride that will leave you gasping, yet wanting more, unable to stop.

"So, you boys finally decided to move on?" Elkins eyes their looks.
Dean has a red bandana wrapped around his mouth, Sam a black one. They've changed into new shirts and pants -- new for them, old for the clothes -- dirt and stains making them look exactly like the rest of the folks in the place.
The look of a pilgrim, Dean realizes.
He doesn't nod or shake. Just strides straight into the room, heading directly for the bartender they've grown familiar with over the past few days. Dean lets out a breath, tasting a tad of bitterness lingering on the tip of his tongue.
Drawing the pistol from the holster at his waist in a smooth swing, he fires three shots into the ceiling. Some girls scream behind him, he knows Sam must also have his gun drawn, aimed somewhere.
Elkins looks at him, reaching for something underneath the bar stand. Supposedly a shotgun.
"I wouldn't suggest that." Dean shifts his aim toward him. The bartender stops moving, hands slowly rising.
"What's this about?" The old man is still surprisingly calm, not even showing much curiosity.
Just how many gangsters has he run into before? Dean finds himself wondering.
"What every outlaw around here wants," he says, aiming for a deep, grave voice. "You got any hidden treasure around here? Gold would do too."
"At least leave me a name to pass your story along?" Elkins reaches for a side drawer. The gold he offers includes some of the very pieces they paid for their meals over the past few days. Dean has to push down the unease.
"Eastwood. Clint Eastwood. Best gunner in the western world," Dean tells him.
