Hehe, I wish my brain could be studied when it comes to drawing. All I can really say is that it’s a matter of experimenting with the program’s tools—the airbrush, blending modes, and textures you can find online.

It’s also important not to limit yourself with thoughts like “oh, I shouldn’t use this because someone told me not to.” I won’t deny that those rules help at first, but in the end it’s about how much of your essence you want to put into your art, and making it clear that you made it.
