While the host agrees that it is likely a confidence issue here, it is not always easy to simply “pick up” confidence.  The host will note though that if you are unconfident in your abilities and constantly broadcast it, it is only a matter of time before even your kindest and most stalwart supporters believe your words.  Should you then pretend to be happy?  No, but it should be noted that smiling even if you don’t feel like it is proven to make people feel better, even if just a little.

((ooc:I've had to unfollow blogs that I really like because of this issue. I have a mood disorder, and I find that reading negative posts all the time endangers my mental health. Every now and then everyone could use a nice pick me up because we all have those days where we feel like crap. It's just seeing it constantly that bothers me. ))
