Hello everyone!

I’m YAD.

She/her.

I specialize in the Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children fandom and in writing — fanfiction, headcanons, and similar works.

I work with both the books and the movie, but prefer the books.

I write both based on my own ideas and on requests/prompts for fanfics or short pieces. I would prefer the second option, though :)

🟢What I work with: Perekoo, platonic relationships between wards and Ymbrynes, platonic and/or romantic relationships between adult characters, lesbian heroines.

🟡My “maybe” topics: unhealthy relationships, abuse themes, violence, complex/strained relationships, body horror, psychological horror. Heterosexual characters, gay male characters. The author of this post does not support any kind of violence, and approaches such themes without romanticizing or justifying them. The author has nothing against heterosexual or gay characters, but prefers to write about women rather than men.

🔴My DNI: incest, pedophilia, zoophilia, romanticizing or justifying violence and dark themes, large age gaps (even if both characters are adults).

So, I decided to explain my long absence, lol. Meet my cat, Bolshaya. She’s been sick lately and apparently decided to test both her limits and my nerves. Her creatinine levels spiked to 2.5 times the normal rate, with 168 being the limit, she hit 496. So, for the past week, I’ve been taking this beast for infusions twice a day, spending at least three hours at the vet, and freaking out the whole time.

If you have any complaints about the slow chapter releases, please feel free to properly scold this beast. She’s the one guilty of all this.

About your questions:

1. Unfortunately, no😭.It was a fic that inspired me to start thinking about something like this, but it's not a part of Never Expected, though I'm thrilled about adding some hints about that one.

2. Hehe, good question!! Alma is studying "Lettres modernes". I hope I don't mess up the English, because I did take the base from France, but it's literature. Isabel is studying "Histoire de l'art", so Art History.

3. Yes and no, lol. No, not at this moment, but I have a small plot prepared, since I prolonged Never Expected, so we’ll have our Alma with glasses!✊

It's my duty to write about them! But thank you so much.

All arts belong to my co-creator-arter, Bell, who is staying anonymous, but I think you can find her if you look further in the depths of this fandom.

Dears, an unplanned update of the fanfic has come out, which I myself did not expect, but I think it is necessary.

I officially extend Never Expected from the original 9 chapters to 15 or close to that number of chapters.

Why am I doing this? I feel that the three remaining chapters for what I have planned for these two are too few. Perekoo in my fanfic clearly needs more time. And the second reason is that, apparently, I am good at slow burn, but bad at writing falling in love quickly. And Never Expected was planned to be a fanfic of a few chapters, and MAXIMUM 10 thousand words. Hehe…..

It took me a very long time to finish this one, but the chapter is finally out!

I think it’s the most emotional chapter in the fic so far, and I really like it. The girls are slowly getting closer and closer, hehe. And of course, we can’t forget the drama!
