Friends on Bomber’s Row
ADX Florence, the infamous maximum security prison in the Rockies now notable for holding the likes of El Chapo and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, once housed Unabomber Ted Kaczynski, the 1993 World Trade Center bomber Ramzi Yousef, and Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh, all within the same block, forming a Bomber’s Row, as referred to by the staff and other inmates.
Facts About: Timothy McVeigh
As a child, he was given the nickname “Noodle” for being scrawny and non-athletic, he was targeted by bullies, including incidents like swirlies. He later linked his hatred of “bullies” (including the federal government in his worldview) to these experiences.
In his yearbook, under “future plans,” he wrote something like “Take it as it comes, buy a Lamborghini, California girls.” Despite this, he was reportedly uncomfortable around women, and never had a serious girlfriend.
While in the military, he sent $20 for a trial membership in the Ku Klux Klan after seeing a pamphlet on gun rights. He did not renew it, claiming the group was too focused on race rather than Second Amendment issues.
As a teen, he was into computers and became an amateur hacker using a Commodore 64 under the handle “The Wanderer.” He reportedly broke into government computer systems.
ChatGPT stole the way I speak and now people think I’m using AI when I speak to them in DMs. I had to stop using the emdash a couple years ago because AI took it and I’d use it all the time.
The battle of Ruby ridge
The standoff at Ruby Ridge (August 21-31, 1992) was a siege conducted by the U.S. marshals in Naples, Idaho. The marshals were serving a bench warrant to Randy Weaver, who had failed to appear to court under federal firearm charges.
He was given the wrong court date.
These charges originated with Weaver selling a sawed-off shotgun to an undercover FBI agent who had actually entrapped weaver by asking him to modify the shotgun to be under the legal length allowed for barrels.
During the pre-arrest surveillance, officer Art Roderick shot Weaver's dog when it ran at them and then pointed his rifle at Weaver's 14-year-old son, Samuel, who was armed. Samuel fired back at the marshals, and was shot in the back and killed by the team.
They begin to exchange fire, Weaver's friend Kevin Harris shot and killed Deputy Marshal William Francis Degan Jr. Subsequently, Weaver, Harris and members of Weaver's immediate family refused to surrender. FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi shot Weaver, then shot Harris, but the second shot also “accidentally” hit and killed Weaver's wife Vicki. Negotiators eventually were able to convince Harris to surrender on August 30th, and weaver and his three daughters surrendered on the 31st.
Randy Weaver and Kevin Harris were acquitted of all charges, civil suits followed against the US government, ruby ridge alongside the Waco siege would be part of the events that later inspired Timothy mcveigh to commit the Oklahoma City bombing, which in turn partially inspired EH and DK to commit the massacre at Col. high school.
Thanks FBI!!!
Red Dawn (1984) was one of Timothy M’s favorite films.
It follows a plot where Soviets invade a town in Colorado. A group of teenagers in small-town Colorado escapes to the mountains, forming a guerilla resistance group called the "Wolverines". They fight back against the occupation, witnessing the brutal reality of war before most are killed.
Things haven't been the same lately

Luigi Mangione's April 1, 2026 Federal Hearing Summary
Luigi was uncuffed, wearing his prison jumpsuit. The hearing was scheduled in order to decide if Luigi's federal trail should be delayed until January, 2027 - as per defense's request.
The judge spoke to the defense ex-parte. A letter regarding all this was also filed on 23 March. For now, this letter and the ex-parte communication will be sealed (not available to the public) because they discuss defense's strategies.
Prosecution argued that 2 of Luigi's defense attorneys (Marc Agnifilo and Jacob Kaplan) and should not have taken on new clients (like Harvey Weinstein, whose trial starts on Apr 14) and then use schedule conflicts as an excuse to delay this federal case. Luigi's attorney Karen Friedman Agnifilo (who doesn't represent Weinstein) countered that they work on a lot of cases and that Weinstein's case has nothing to do with this one. Especially since Weinstein's trial is scheduled to start in less than 2 weeks.
The judge was reluctant to delay the federal trial until Jan 2027, because the state trial has not yet been adjourned until Sept, as defense expects it to be. We talked more about this previously here:
Judge Garnett said she'll slightly adjust the jury selection schedule and delay the start of opening statements until Oct 26 or Nov 2. Currently, this was supposed to happen on Oct 14. So, there will only be a 12 or 26-day delay in the federal case.
WHAT'S NEXT:
Federal judge set another hearing for Jun 5 to discuss jury questionnaires
Voir Dire in federal case will start on Oct 5 (as opposed to Sept 8)
Defense will likely ask the state judge to delay the state trial
If state trial is delayed, federal trial will be delayed even more
Either way the state trial will proceed first
