We will not condone harassment of any creator mentioned, this blog is purely for stating opinions on what the game and or community has to offer.

I really don't like that Spive is getting alot of hate as of late, I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea but it gets overshadowed alot.

I feel like in a sense it's wrong to separate the two Sapphic characters who have been the only ones confirmed to have any sort of romantic attraction to eachother. And it sucks that to a point it's being somewhat blacklisted from those I hang around :(

I really like Spive as a ship, I know you can like multiple but it feels like it's being pushed out, and unwelcomed from alot of spaces.

I really like the headcanon that Dr. Retro 'created' Bive, it's funny to me thinking about it. I get that alot of people dislike it but honestly I think it's cute as a platonic relationship!

regretevator's community seems really unwelcoming of abuse victims, and i really don't like that the game itself is playing into alot of the sort of 'fanservice' it's getting.

a prime example of my discomfort is towards wallter being heavily implied to be an alcoholic / and or an abuser, and as someone who comes from a background living from such, it's hard for me to find comfort in alot of the fanart, or anything the community makes.

i don't think wallter is that bad of a guy, and i don't like how i can't claim him as a 'favorite' character any longer because of the fact he's being constantly painted as an abusive partner, alot of the wallmark fanart you see is claimed as 'angst' but is really just a victim, and a predator complex.

not to mention, i dislike the fact that it's been confirmed to be one-sided, which only further fuels people's desire to portray one as an abuser, the other as their victim. and now the creator themselves is playing into it.

frankly? i don't feel welcomed in the community as a victim of abuse under an alcoholic.

Every time I mention not liking Split people always have to get on my case about it. No, it isn’t because I’m also a Bive fan and want her for myself.
