Okay, she could understand him being upset, and yes, it might have appeared to be rude on her part considering she was the naked one in his bed, but still…She was also the injured one. The homeless one. Anddddd…he didn’t know that. But he soon would.
Seeing him blindly navigate his way to the bed, she quickly grabbed the clothes from his hands. Figuring he probably wasn’t going to look at her, she unwrapped herself from the mess of blankets and sheet she was wrapped in. The air was cold on her body, and it made certain parts stand at attention. Embarrassed even more, Malia stood up, yelping slightly as the shift in position pulled at her stitches. Glancing down, she noticed she had popped a stitch. Great. He was really going to love that. It would have to wait though. Instead, she slipped on the clothes that were way too big for her, “You can open your eyes now. I’m not naked anymore. Geeze…you act like you’ve never seen a human body before, when apparently you know how stitch people up…”
Rolling her eyes, she padded over pushing herself in front of him, so she could somewhat fix her messy hair. Catching a whiff of herself, she scrunched her nose up in disgust. Letting her eyes drift upward to his reflection, she looked at him with the same curiosity she had last night in her furry state of being, “You got a shower I can use. I smell like something dead.” Malia had totally disregarded the supernatural stuff, still sorting out the best way to tell him that she was, in fact, the coyote he had brought home last night.
He heard the girl’s cry and turned without thinking only to get a view of her still naked form and turn on his heels again almost resulting in a fall. But he hadn’t turned fast enough, Reid noticing the little bit of blood running down her skin and sighing as he realized she had just broken a stitch. “Correction...I know how to stitch up animals. I’m studying to be a vet not a doctor. Which brings me back to how I went to bed with a coyote and woke up with a naked woman...” The boy waited a moment before he continued softly. “And I’ve never seen a naked woman...at least not in real life.” It wasn’t that he was ashamed of that fact, if he were he wouldn’t have admitted it to anyone, it was just the fact that people always ended up questioning him further when he admitted to it.
Despite the girl telling him that it had been okay to turn around again Reid’s back had still be turned to her when she pushed her way in front of him. How rude could woman be? The look she gave him though. He recognized it somehow and he couldn’t really believe that he was entertaining the idea that it had been her he’d stitched up last night. Mouth open ins shock as he stared at her, Reid barely processed the question she had sent his way. His astonishment left him speechless for a moment but slowly he started to shake his head. “You’re not...doing anything until you tell me how it’s possible that you were an animal last night.”
