“ That, in fact, is why I bought one of their more expensive cups, and slid my name underneath the plating. Can’t mess my name up now that it’s forcibly stuck there. And as a sidenote.. misspelling is so much better than mishearing. My name is Grayson. Do you know how many Starbucks employees have written Gracie on my cup? “Â
“Can I call you that now?” Reilly chuckled, “Gracie, my exceptional therapist.”
i had all and then most of you                    some and now none of you
take me back to the night we met
“You would think with how many times I go to this Starbucks, they’d actually get my name right…” Reilly chuckled, taking a sip of his drink before showing the name on the cup to the person in front of him. It was spelt the normal, English way. “Supposed to be R-E-I-L-L-Y. Not Riley, but I’ll take what I can get.”
“Excuse me,” Ethan trailed off once he’d addressed the individual standing nearby, nibbling at the end of his pen briefly as his glance was focused down on the notebook in front of him before he looked back up with an almost charming smile. His eyes were wide and bright when they met the other person’s and he let out a small, slightly awkward laugh. “I’m so sorry, this is probably the most random thing I ever asked someone but let’s say you go into a salon to get anything done, be it your hair or makeup or whatever - what is the one thing you look out for the most? As in, what do you expect from the place for it to be one you’d like to come back to?” He asked curiously, tilting his head at the other as a gentle smile stayed put on his lips. “You’d seriously help me out big time if you have an answer for me.”
“Sorry mate, I’d love to be of help but it’s just that I never really go to salons.” Reilley apologized, an mix of an English and Irish accent peaked out from behind his words. “I could pass that question along to a couple of my coworkers? Lady friends? I’m not too sure at the audience you’re aiming for…”
“Can’t say I’ve ever had the pleasure of Sweet Tea…” Reilly smiled at her, “Pip, why would you want to induce a coma on yourself?” He loved to joke around with his neighbours, especially Pippa. They’ve been living across from each other for a couple months.
