Rook as Enmu. They both have these larger than life personalities, eccentric, and you could argue Enmu loves beautiful dreams turn nightmares to watch people's pain equals Rook if he had a twisted sense about beauty.
I suppose in this idea Vil could be Muzan. MuzanVil just wants immorality because it's the last step to preserving his beauty. How dare he die and deny the whole world his beauty? Or some such narcissistic whoshotjohn.

He finds the "beauty" in the agony, in the untouchable. The closest you are to finally realizing your dreams, is when he finds to entertain himself, taking it away slowly. HES MORE FREAKY TOO I CANT EXPLAIN I JUST KNOW
muzan!Vil would be such a great one cause I can perfectly see him turning in almost the same way as Muzan. He's the epitome of beauty, so much powerful he's not even human anymore. Everyone he turns in has a proposite. They can "do better", "feed yourself, grow stronger, kill slayers find the blue lily"— I think he puts it on the back of the mind of every demon, tho it manifests itself differently on everyone. He feels that everyone should be grateful to be presented with his blood. He's giving you a chance to be like him, to be perfect. Humanity is just a minor detail on his great plan to eternity. His not a monster. He is a savior to some, a god for all bellow him, the queen of the demons if I may say.
and ubuyashiki!Neige would be his ENDLESS nightmare. Just something about the most beautiful neblanche to ever exist don't minding at all being consumed by sickness, and not only that, but trying to sabotage Vil's vision...Oh, he would be so much bitter and cruel than og Muzan. Neige says that beauty comes from the inside, eternity is in the ephemeral, in the way our body feeds the earth and flowers grow out of it. I think it's even worse when he sees that people get to actually like to listen to ubuyashiki!Neige "bullshit."
Their only and last meeting to Vil would be so odd. The hatred towards Neige would be so much about self disgust than envy. He remembers Vil of his own weakness.
If Neige thinks that the beauty comes from the heart, then Vil will take his with his own hands to see the proof.

Starts with him thinking about Spelldrive formations he’d like to try and he looks rather happy about it... He's ALWAYS thinking of his team, his dorm! They mean everything to him! ...Until Lillia pops up to bother him.
Lillia DOES have a funny line here something like: “You coulda just said you don’t wanna talk to me and wanted to hurry to your practice. Can’t you just say what you mean?” YES, CLOCK HIM PEEPAW!!
Time skips to the Savanaclaw Dorm where Leona mentions he should be “buttering up to Vargas for "more practice” on top of what they already do. Development? Actually trying to get better?? PUSHING HIS TEAM? HE TAKES HIS CLUB SERIOUSLY. He wants his boys to do good! Then in typical “Leona Fashion” he proceeds to yell at his aforementioned beloved frosh calling them “brats" and telling them all to “Stop yappin’ !!” Which furthers the idea that he thinks of them as kids. Grumpy Dad behavior.
It goes to him winding down for the night and reading a secondhand book he found about history. (Driving with Leona to used bookstores on Sage island???) Which sounds like its about an Ice Age of sorts. GUYS. He was soooo immersed in this book HE WAS READING IT TILL MORNING. He talks about this book for like 2 minutes straight. SPECIAL INTEREST HELLO?? ADHD-CODED? He even cross references with books he has! He loves his history and dead languages.
Also interestingly enough, the book was about “Food Preservation Methods” Hmm. Interesting connection to his dream in Chapter 7 where there was food shortage!! (Also I’m literally writing about this in my Dream AU)
When he realizes it’s MORNING he decides he wants to skip his first period. He’s already "self-studied" after all, he smugly remarks. This is so interesting to me. One: bc people assume that Leona skips because he’s lazy, NO GUYS, HE’S BORED. Two: I’ve always seen Leona as a night owl and now we know maybe the reason he naps so much is maybe bc his sleep patterns are so erratic. ...And possibly tied to his hyperfixations?
He falls back asleep till noon, JUST in time for lunch and afternoon classes. (Yippe!) Time to start the day!! (This is like looking into a dark mirror of what I was like my senior year of HS. HELP.) He forgot to eat too!! Like…I knew he was neurodivergent ya'll. GFHJK
Anyways, he brushes his teeth and he shaves?? I mean it makes sense because he's a bit older. He mentions that having scruff bothers him and seems to prefer to be clean shaven. (Sensory thing?? ANOTHER INTERESTING NEURODIVERGENT TENDENCY SIR.)
I DON'T EVER WANNA HEAR HOW "unhygienic” or “lazy” he is anymore BTW. Bro puts on toner AND lotion. And then says he doesn’t REALLY care. LOL? YET YOU DO. Classic Lee-Lee stuff. Finally some hair oil. Mmhm.

And he mentions that he can’t tell if that looks better or worse. Then hits with the classic Leona deflect of: “Whatever. Who cares.” Awe but sweetie you DO CARE. Like this makes me even more curious to know HOW HE GOT IT. I have my theories but still.
I remember there was a reference to “the whole dorm showing up to wish him Happy Birthday” in a previous b-day card and THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED!! ALL HIS BELOVED FROSHES SHOWED UP AND MADE HIM COME OUT OF HIS DEN. “Guess I gotta to class now,” he says with a smile. SIR SIR. You love your dorm so much and they love you so much you look STUPID.

I love them so much, I'm such a damn sucker for the found family dynamics. My favorite design is Sebek. I love this reptiley boi with all of my heart. But his hair is so hard to draw.
I wanted to get more practice drawing them and fleshing out some headcannons I have for them.
Some Fun notes:
Malleus- I tried to push how much smug cat I can fit into this lizard as much as possible. His hair is supposed to invoke thorns and the spines of a bearded dragon lizard.
Sebek- The markings on his cheeks are kinda supposed to be texture from half formed scales. I imagine that the skin there is a bit tougher than expected. This makes his cheeks a little hard to pinch. He's also supposed to look a little more like a gargoyle.
Silver- I wanted to push a little more pink and blue saturation to give him a more dreamlike feeling. Not much to say here, I tried to keep his design more simple. His bangs swoop to the left when Malleus' swoops to the right.
Lilia- I kinda wanted to add more earings but I really struggled to render them out.
💞 — this is a fic for @reinbouxsworld featuring their oc, yuno yamine, in her demon slayer au. ultimately, thinking of yuno's dynamic with leona inspired me a lot and i really wanted to write something!! i did my best to characterize yuno around the comics and things that june provided of their wonderful oc. hope you enjoy <33
💞 — featuring!! vil as tamayo, rook as yushiro, yuno and leona as our protagonists, and finally, yunus and yusairah as demon slayers.
💞 — it's a little over 760 words. my yuus <33 yunus and yusairah make an appearance towards the end. i ended up drawing them for this au and leaving some fun facts at the bottom of the fic.
Her pale hand dipped into the pocket of her uniform for the little parcel Vil had given her. “Collect me the blood of the demons closest to Crowley, and perhaps I can make your husband a cure,” he had requested. Of course, he had his own motives, but ultimately Yuno could not get much out of him. Just a sense of the looming phantom called abhorrence.
And, any time she asked something which could have given her some more knowledge, Rook was quick to intervene.
Not to mention, those demons had surprised them with an attack. She could feel a headache coming on just thinking about all the chaos that had transpired over the last few days. Her body was exhausted and in desperate need of a good long rest.
Leona noticed this and his brows knitted softly before he gently reached out and placed his hand over her head, letting it slide down the back of her now shortened hair and to her neck. Despite how his features had become more demonic, his emerald gaze sharpened with a slit pupil, his nails long and pointed to cut through the thickest materials, he never did stop being her husband.
Yuno smiled, leaning into the touch a bit, “I’m fine, Leona,” she said, reaching out to bring his hand to her cheek and kiss the inside of his palm.
The way his pupils dilated was indication that he was pleased with her affection and he shut his eyes for a moment, letting his shoulders drop a bit before he moved his hand back to his side. The long sleeves of haori hid his obviously inhuman hands. He thought back to Yuno’s words to Vil regarding finding him a cure, “This could help many innocent demons, not just Leona.” She had this selflessness about her which made her so fascinating.
Admittedly, Yuno had been a bit put off by Vil’s short answers and the very clear scent of hatred which radiated off of the demon. His eyes seemed to remain completely passive, but boiling beneath the surface was the river of pure lava that made the hottest places of hell appear more like a tundra. And then there was Rook as well, his eyes were extremely observant. Leona had been extra irritated by his presence, his little smile as he pried into matters which seemed to not concern him, though all he gave were some grumbles as he loomed at Yuno's side. It was not like any words could get passed that bamboo muzzle.
As if sensing his thoughts, Yuno gently touched his arm as they left the hideout back into the streets of Asakusa. It was so late and yet the streets were still bustling. There were some British and other foreign diplomats drunk and about, there were families returning to their residences, and finally there were demon slayers hidden among the crowd.
Yuno figured that with all the hustle and bustle, Leona would not seem so out of place. He could only be out during the night, so she felt it was only fair that he joined her in walking under the light of the moon and gas lamps. Her dark eyes were taking in the sights when she caught the look of a thin, tall, dark-skinned man, clearly in Demon Slayer Corps uniform. At his side was a young woman, dressed similarly. She seemed much more approachable, round faced and plump.
His brown eyes narrowed a bit as he saw a demon at her side, but he made no move to attack, as if he could just see right through Yuno. They were no threat for now, but there was a sort of warning there.
“Mm… are you going to finish that, Yunus?” came the voice of the soft looking woman standing beside him. She had in her hands some empty parchment where a piece of taiyaki had sat, “Yumkin an tudili sinah? (Could you give me a piece? in Arabic).”
He looked down at his friend and shook his head, finally allowing Yuno a breath of relief, “Hmm? No, qaado (take it in Somali),” he said. There was a pause and then a sigh, “And you need to find a better way to hide your weapon. We bring enough attention to ourselves without your seven foot spear pointing out your back.”
Yuno turned her attention back to Leona and her gaze ultimately softened. Gently, she took his wrist and tugged him onward. They had spent enough time in Asakusa and now they had to fulfill Vil’s request if she had any chance of returning her husband to his human state.
— during the taisho period in japan, the british were in an alliance. the japanese were allies to the british during world war one, aiding them in capturing german occupied lands in mainland china in 1914/15. in this au, yunus would be a somali resident of south yemen, which was a british colony up until 1967, where he and yusairah would grow up. they would work for a british family in aden who take them along on a trip to japan to continue their labor there. a few months into living in japan their boss's estate is broken into by demons and they're slaughtered while yunus and yusairah watch, hidden away in the servant's quarters. they don't intervene because 1) self-preservation, and 2) you could not pay either of them to save a colonizer </3. a demon slayer intervenes before they could be caught, and they end up joining the corps.
— their motivations are selfish, admittedly, but it comes from a need to not be vulnerable to any party, whether that be human colonizers, or hungry demons. yusairah puts it extremely plainly whenever asked, "i won't be anyone's meal or under anyone's boot."
— despite how friendly she is, yusairah keeps to yunus's side most of the time. they do interact with other demon slayers, but ultimately being in a foreign nation makes them more reliant on one another.
— seeing as how many of the blades are customized in the original source material, i think they tried to wield katanas, but it was so different from what they were used to. they eventually request their next blades to be made in styles from their homeland, with yusairah choosing an arabian lance and yunus going with a billao, a somali styled blade. the swordsmiths are mildly annoyed when they get battered blades sent back to them with a quickly written letter from yusairah with drawings of what they wanted.
— they have heavy accents and speak to each other in their native tongues. ace is bothered by this when they first meet because he thinks they're talking shit about him (maybe they are, maybe they're not). they still incorporate some items of cultural dress to their uniform, such as yusairah's veil and henna tattoos, and yunus's head wrapping. yusairah's hair is longer in the back, but she keeps it under the scarf because of how it could get in the way.
— yunus is the stronger of the two of them, and much more strategic than yusairah is. she has a more impulsive approach to things. as helpful as his strategy is, yunus is an over-thinker and cannot act as quickly as his mind races, unlike yusairah who can jump into action the moment she senses a weakness.
— yunus has sensitive eyes, and yusairah has sensitive touch.
— idk about breathing styles just yet. will come up with something later, hopefully.
