also does everything online seem like a lot more empty critique than normal? i'd rather watch a hundred (100) bad Odysseys than hear all this fluff about the one (1). still haven't seen it yet but I'm sure i'll be whelmed about it. i'm just happy he's making what he wants to make. as long as it was fun that'll be fine enough.

Ya know, sometimes things are cut because they're bad. When that happens, I say well done. Editing is an essential function of creating, good job making use of it. That idea you tried is a bad one, off to the bin it goes.

Do me a favour and reblog this with a show you like that was cancelled after only one season. I don't mean shows that were always meant to be miniseries or shows that work perfectly well as a standalone story, or shows that might still get renewed. I mean shows that are and will forever remain unfinished. The more obscure the better.

IMO, blurring the lines between “I’m defending them because they’re right” and “I’m defending them because you’re taking this too far” is step numero uno to cutting down the very existence of fair trial and democracy–even in places where saying that might seem a little dramatic. 

Mob mentality is extremely strong in humans and it’s also extremely dangerous. Mobs don’t think things through. Mobs kill and they destroy and they can’t be reasoned with. Someone trying to calm a mob down isn’t someone defending the ~problematic party~ It’s time we re-learn that.
