Sometimes there comes a point in one’s life when they’re faced with a major change that will show them who they really are. For Relena, it was her father’s death. Though her childhood died with her father, she didn’t let it crush her spirit. Instead, we see her find strength in Heero until she finds her own.

She shows her vulnerability and naivete in these scenes as she is still very much a hurt young girl, but Relena does not hesitate to speak her mind or act according to her beliefs. Her father’s passing and subsequent meeting with Doctor J marks the beginning of Relena’s path to her destiny.

when people hate on relena i think two things, one - it’s the dub’s fault bc holy shit the girl doing her voice makes her sound like such a forceful brat and she isn’t at all, her japanese is perfectly womanly and she’s super gentle. two - no one watched the second half of the series where she is an amazing fucking badass on the groud paving the way for the pilots. y'all give peacecraft a chance
