My sweetheart is the best nurse. And I finished my oc!!! Their/her name is F-21. Theyre an android, downloaded with the highest ranked bodyguard personality. Her shipment (sent to protect the Principle Tactician) was accidentally destroyed. Her left arm was severed in the accident, and fixed later in life. Part of the suspension pods punctured through her hip joints, and due to their partial metamorphosis and regenerative capabilities they repurposed the material around them to make semi-prehensile blades.

Bioshock Sculpture

Been quite a few weeks since I’ve posted anything to crimsoneye’s blog. I lock myself in the shop almost every night after work to get art pieces ready for the 9th annual Illuxcon show this October. In the news this week I found that Bioshock, the video game, has been re-mastered and re-released.   Bioshock is one of my favorite game of all time and I find it fitting that its been re-released this week. Why? Well it apparently made such and impact with me, with its art deco environment and fantastic visuals, that I’ve spent the last 6 months working on a series of sculptures to celebrate the city of Rapture.   Here are 2 of the planned edition of 3.They the simply titled; Rapture in red, Rapture in Blue, and Rapture in Green. Green is yet unfinished. These pieces are 30" in height and 4"-to 7" deep. Their made out of 1/8" aluminum, with real metal coating and patinas, via The great finishes by Sculpt Nouveau. The fine people at Vintage Wire have also played a part with their twisted woven electrical cords, period replica electrical plugs and switches that make these sculptures look like they were fabricated for the city of Rapture back in the 50’s.  I got my hands on a good camera and set-up a shoot last night to try and capture the pieces in both their illuminated and non-illuminated form. I hope they bring back the feel we all fell in love with while visiting, and dying, in the world of Bioshock. Swing by Illuxcon in Reading PA to see them in person. I looooove Meg and claudette. Since I levelled up Meg first though she doesnt have self-care, so I split my time. Plus then my boyfriend and I can match on our dates ^_^

Finished leveling up Titania, so I am moving on to ember! Warframe is having a double credits weekend, and with an extra credit boost i made 200000 in one mission.
