EMERGENCY FUNDS NEEDED: HOMELESS STATUS/FUNDRAISER UPDATE 3/2/2024

I do not update here much because I barely come on here. But in regards to urgent funding, I'll get to that first before other info. Due to a spike in hotel rates, I was only able to book 3 more days, allowing me to only book until the 7th of March, so I will be needing help pay for that.

Here's proof of the rates randomly spiking within a day: 2/29/2024 (I checked the rates this day, and made the mistake of not paying the 4 days then)

3/1/2024 (The day I purchased the days, only allowing me to pay for 3 days.)

The time I have for this duriation is way more limited than before due to the random spike in rates. Rates don't stay the same so they may lower again after the weekend, but that doesn't change the fact I don't have any money. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: I don't feel like making a separate post for this so I'll just mention it here... I am still working on my employment search and my affordable housing search. I cannot do much for affordable housing applications outside of waiting lists when I don't have a job, but once I get a job, I should be able to look into ones that don't need have waiting lists. I bring this up because 1. Even if I get a job really soon, I won't get paid right away, so I'll still need help staying in the hotel. 2. I would need to pay for deposits and stuff for the type of affordable housing I'm looking into anyway, so I could put extra funds I have to that instead of it strictly being into the hotel funds. So that's another reason why I should try to get half of the fundraiser goal on the gofundme if not all of it. The more I can have donated, the faster I can finally get out of homelenessess. 3. I was thinking of going into rent a room or something else after I'm hired, but I can't guarentee it. Again, once I get a job, I should be able to find an apartment immediately, I just need the expenses for it, and the donations could go into that instead! Anyways thats it for this post. STILL HOMELESS AND NEED OF SHELTER (4/25/2024)

I'M A BIT LATE FOR THIS UPDATE, but I currently need to get more funds for the hotel stays before 11 AM PST on April 29th. As you can tell in the screencaps, for the target amount of days I'm doing for the time being, because I am unsure of how the entirety of May will go, I do not need more than 1200 USD for the time being. I do not expect to reach that amount of days, but I want to try to get as many days as possible as I am aware I need to stay here longer for a while. If anyone wants estimates from the site I'm using to book + the deposit amount for lesser days than 10-14 days I'm willing to provide it, just let me know. I keep forgetting that I have this tumblr account and I'm sorry. I'm here updating on stuff I haven't updated on here before since it's been weeks.

I have been in a hotel since February 4th of this year and have managed to get funding through GFM and paypal/kofi to remain sheltered. Originally I needed money for extra things like food and such, but I got that resolved, so the money is pretty much about staying sheltered. The other information is in the screenshots and the gofundme itself. I do post in the updates on the gofundme, but I am the most active on my twitter, which you can follow here!

I also share my kofi and paypal due to the fact the minimum wait for donation transactions is 2 business days, so sometimes I will not get that in time. Unless its a really large donation, when it's less than 2 days for me to pay for the hotel again, just donate to my Kofi or Paypal instead.

Please signal boost at least, that can help as well!

EMERGENCY: CURRENTLY HOMELESS IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Due to my homelessness is still indefinite and I have not figured out where I can be temporarily while looking for affordable housing, I need to stay at the hotel for the rest of March. However I usually just try to book several days at a time rather than an entire month because funds are limited. The prices are always fluctuating for hotels so for 5-7 days it's always in the 600-900 USD range

Due to circlumstances, the 10K USD goal I had on the gofundme appears to be a necessity instead of just a placeholder I have. Hello, I'm currently homeless. Outside of my gofundme that is keeping me sheltered in a hotel (mostly) until I can find a way out of my housing crisis, I am opening a tip jar on her for smaller expenses where I will draw something in my sketch book every time I get a 5 USD donation. It will be a random drawing or something I'm interested in unless I receive a specific request. So keep that in mind.

I haven't gotten updates in regards to housing and/or work. My homelessness is still indefinite and I only have til the 26th to stay at the hotel after my most recent booking for 12 nights. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, I just need as much help I can get to get by since shelter and fostering my cat doesn't appear to be an option, as there's no room. Gofundme Link / Kofi Link

As you can tell, I'm currently homeless and cannot access resources for shelter, as the homeless epidemic has caused it to get much harder to find shelter and transitional housing. I'm also someone who needs special accommodations as a disabled person, such as my medication and my cat being an emotional support animal, so that alone will make me less likely to be accepted.

I've been seeking a way to get housing way before I became homeless, as I knew the lease wasn't going to be renewed, but I couldn't do it on time. Currently I paid for my 1st and 2nd stay at the hotel I'm currently at. That's been 10 days, and currently I need to renew again by the 13th of February. This is the information for my first booking, which was cheaper than the second check in. 403 was the total including tax, but the second check in is 403 WITHOUT the tax.

Here's the proof of the second stay in for 5 days being higher than the last.

This hotel is literally the cheapest I could find with basic accomidations such as having a microwave and being able to refrigerate food, so I have to deal with the prices fluctuating a bit. It's not going to be the same each time I renew my stay at the hotel. But I don't expect it to reach the 500 USD range, it's going to be bellow that. The better approximate I guess is to get 480 USD for every 5 days of staying if feasible.

This is the current amount I got for the 3rd stay 66.11 is what I have left and the other two are donations that are still processing This isnt enough for the third hotel stay. (Due on the 13th) I would need around 500 USD (in case I need other needs like food/ set up the p.o. box) I'll appreciate any help!

Gofundme does not finish sending transactions on weekends, in fact it postpones it, so that may cause complications for the 3rd and 4th stay if the money comes in too late. I do not know how long I'm going to stay here, my homeless status is indefinite, I'll I can do is continue to work on finding resources for housing that will fit my financial situation while I try to stay in the hotel as much as possible. 10K USD is the amount asked because I know it may take a while to get things sorted, I may not need that amount, but if I don't and I reach it, I could always use it for deposits and so on as well as furnishing my apartment whenever I can get there. Update I guess?

I've been searching for a new job for months, way before I became homeless. I couldn't find one on time. I'm currently working with services that help people find jobs, and Idk how much that will speed things up. Even if I get a job like next week or something, I won't be paid until 2 weeks, so I would need the gofundme still. But again it may be a while until I get that job. If I get paid over 15 an hour (some entry level jobs I applied for can do 20 an hour), then I should be able to pay for the hotel with ease while I look for low income housing with my biweekly pay. If its 15 or less then I would be barely getting by depending on how the rates fluctuate sadly.

I'm probably gonna be stuck in this hotel for the rest of the month, if its possible to get that funded. I have enough for the third stay, and close to getting enough for the 4th. I do need to eventually get necessities like a P.O box, transportation funds, and possibly storage. Also some food I guess if a food bank isn't as helpful as it would be compared to living in a house. (As my ability to prepare food is limited.) Anyways if you can help at least signal boost the gofundme, I'd appreciate it!

I live in Arizona. I mention this in case people know resources that I possibly didn't call or think of. I have called a lot of places and didn't get assistance/help from at all and been doing it before I even became homeless so keep that in mind. There's a chance I already contacted resources you provide.

Gofundme Update

I'm probably going to need to be in the hotel for the entire month. I don't know what will happen in March but I made 10k USD the goal amount because of the indefinite status of my homelessness. I may actually be able to get into an apartment if I hit that goal.

I really hope I find a way to get housing soon, I really cant keep this going forever.
