OK SO. FUN FACT!

Ghost didn't have an actual keyboard player (the real Air Ghoul) until March 2011.

at Ghost's first 5 live performances, the keyboard part used a backing track.

at Ghost's first-ever live performance in Würzburg, Germany (October 23, 2010), there is a person wearing a Ghoul uniform standing at a keyboard, but this Ghoul is only pretending to play the keyboard, and is kind of pushed back into a corner so people don't really look at him. 😂

i have named him False Air.

He's the cutest ghoul (see his airplane imitation during Cirice + his little clap that he does)

He's the nicest ghoul (apologized that one time when he bumped into Alpha on stage)

He's one of the funniest ghouls (pretending to hit Terzo with his guitar)

He's a nerd and he is not cool at all which actually just makes him exponentially more endearing (he doesn't know what to do with himself on stage when he isn't actively playing)

He is literally gay married (to Alpha)

He's the most talented ghoul (played every guitar part - albeit just a couple shows on lead, but he still did it)

He's literally perfect

He was the most wonderful water ghoul and the normalest best behaved nicest most pleasant quintessence ghoul (peace and love to Omega he was still far wackier than Delta ever got)

Still suffers from water ghoul bloodlust but it was really nice and endearing (see that time he headbutted Alpha I believe during Year Zero but like in a cute fun loving way)

He did NOT get along with Terzo but he was still probably the best behaved ghoul of them all (I feel like I can't count Air as being a well behaved ghoul because he has the soul of an accountant so he's kind of an outlier)

The photo of him holding Pebble is extremely cute

Him and Alpha and their little heart hands that they do and did i mentioned that they're literally in love with each other

tell us what's wrong with River 🎤

What ISN'T wrong with River. Peace and love to every other freak who has ever been in the band but River was the strangest and craziest and most bizarre ghoul to ever come out of the ghoul factory

He either has the saddest eyes in the world or he looks actively unsettling. I would say photos of River are like 20% he looks like someone has just taken away his favourite chewtoy or they told him there's snacks at home and he can't get a candy bar or something and 80% he looks scary scary scary scary

If he is left unsupervised for more than 15 minutes he will start chewing on any uncovered cable or wire

He listens almost exclusively to strange synth music

Physically incapable of sitting still

Physically incapable of being normal on stage

It's like every day is his first day on earth. He's dangerously silly. He doesn't have a serious bone in his body. All of his bones are either strange and offputting or excessively whimsical

In my heart he is Air's least favourite other ghoul because he's so insane all the time and Air thinks that's extremely annoying (which is a funny headcanon if you're educated in unmasked ghoulology)

He also happens to be the entire Clergy's least favourite ghoul because he is physically incapable of good behaviour

Extremely obsessed with Alpha and doesn't gaf all that much about anyone else as seen by the fact that he and Alpha literally cannot leave each other alone on stage but River (usually) ignores the other ghouls (except for occasionally glancing in Omega's general direction)

I think he has to be kept away from other water ghouls because he'll attack them like a territorial cat if they get too close. Especially near the beginning of his existence I would say. Maybe he mellowed a little with time but probably not very much (he has a borderline insatiable instinct to aggressively gnaw on things and people)

Guy who would eat batteries (his favourite flavor is AA)

Of every ghoul he is the one who got along the worst with Papa. Like if Primo had had to deal with River, River would've gotten vaporized in like 8 seconds flat
