Hey, everyone... I finally decided to pick up this site. I like the blog format a lot, really nice for ranting into the void.

The asks option is also really handy, so... you're free to ask normal stuff. The company would be nice. Hmm, um, I'm not this chatty in real life. Text is easier and all.

The story can be adapted based on the roleplay or ask's timeline, but generally this is post KIY and he has survived. KIY will occasionally try to get a word in, lol. But Derek is stronger than him.

He is an avian (crow) IRL! It is also visible in his Minecraft skin form. Just one of the dearer Derek types to me :) His back wings aren't there anymore though.

He doesn't have a set Avery blog he talks to, everyone is welcome to interact. There might be regulars though naturally

He is fond of human psychology and observing behaviors as well as puzzles!

These are just some tidbits, you're welcome to ask him about anything. However:

Sorry if this is weird but I’m feeling quite fat and disgusting today (it’s one of those things where it’s ok for other people to do/be it but not you) and was wondering if you had any advice for me, infinite knowledge and all that. Don’t answer if you don’t feel like it 💛💛

Hi there. You sound very kind. (I... know who you are, but I play along. For the sake of looking normal, you know.)

You're valid for feeling that way, however don't let it control you. If you want to be... skinnier (god I hate saying that. I'm underweight.), my suggestion is that you keep eating the foods you love, but in smaller portions. That way, you're still getting what you like but not overwhelming your body with calories. Another thing is recognizing if you feel full - are you maybe a volume eater? Or do you eat for flavor? Or out of stress? There's a lot of factors to it, but what I mentioned is like... general advice. And my opinion. I'm not a doctor, of course. I'm just saying you shouldn't limit yourself and punish yourself, because that way you're gonna binge and eat even more, and feel even worse. You don't have to actively work out, either. You can just take super long walks with your pets or on your own. Listen to music, all that.

On a more emotional note, I understand when the self hate doesn't apply to others, only you. I'm like that too. But you shouldn't let it plague your mind, you still deserve to be treated kindly and dress however makes you happiest. You shouldn't wait until you've lost weight to wear something you think is cute or like, cool. It's a slow process, especially for AFAB people due to naturally slower metabolisms and hormonal changes every month. On that note, gaining temporary weight during menstruation is normal too. Notice; temporary. It's water weight, it isn't real fat. However, don't let that be a free pass to overindulging. You never know with your body, it's always a surprise - maybe it is real fat. Nonetheless, if you feel more cravings, eat healthier variants of what you like. AMAB people have naturally quicker metabolisms that burn calories quicker. We have it the easy way, as sad as it makes me for AFABs. This is really long, I'm sorry anon. Please take care.

Absolutely. Der also isn't super great about keeping himself preened to begin with, it's something he needs to keep on top of but he's often too occupied with other things to do it. He feels weird about asking Avery for help just since he doesn't like the thought of feeling like a nuisance, even though Avery doesn't mind one bit. With time he gets better about it and they develop a whole routine
