“What, why would something be wrong? I drink all the time, you’ve jus’ never seen it.” He stops to take another swig, attempting to mask the sour look that passes over his face. ’“I love drinking.” -hiccups- “Love, love, love, it.”
“’ve not had too many! give me my beer back!” he pouts, fully knowing how whine-y he gets when he’s drunk.

“look, im just not interested in having sex, okay? why is that so hard to understand?“ andy’s patience was running thin, as the other was quite persistant in their battle to hook up tonight. "we had a good night, can we not just leave it at that?”
im sick and in bed with ice cream and htgawm and muse and im ready 2 party
Drugs become addictive the day you decide to use it to fill the gaps in your heart instead of using it for short entertainment.

it only took him a few moments to realize what lennox had done. he rushed out of the room slamming the door behind him. what the fuck was his problem? he paced in the living room, his small hands bunched up into fists. it only took a few moments for him to return and once lennox walked through the door he got right in his face. “where are they? give them to me know.”
lennox was expecting this and he put his hands up in defense to push knox a few inches back. “calm the fuck down knox. i forgot to tip the pizza guy, i just went after him.” he walked past lennox, back to his room, the drugs burning a whole in his pocket, but he knew he couldn’t take them out. he hadn’t even figured out where he was going to store it now that knox knew where to look. “stop being so fucking paranoid. knox, honestly.”
“I’ll learn this? didn’t know we were seeing each other again after this.” a cocky grin appeared on his lips. yeah he wasn’t relationship guy but having someone to flirt with and hook up with was kinda nice, especially if that person looked like paxton. “yeah I think I will borrow it.”
“we don’t have to, you seem like a fast learner,” paxton couldn’t deny that the guy in front of him was incredibly attractive, obviously flirting, with his smug little smirk, and paxtons thinks to himself that he probably wouldn't be opposed to hooking up with him. it’s not like he has anything better to do tonight. and the other has already made it incredibly clear that he doesn’t do relationships, so there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with the situation. he moves just the slightest bit closer, tilting his head, looking up at him, “well, it’s going to cost you. i don't just give away my mottos for free.”
“ to be fair I thought I could get by on my good looks and charm but you ended up buying me a drink that night anyways so it worked out in my favor. you also called me knot all night so if anyone is the bastard it’s you.”
“well, in my defense, what the fuck kind of name is knox. you couldn’t have expected me to just say that. if i remember, you got incredibly tipsy that night and kept telling me i was beautiful, so who’s the real winner here?” he says, looking over at knox and smiling. the moment is broken by the buzz of his phone on his nightstand. he knows exactly who it is and tries his best to look incomspicuos as he turns to read the message. as if god is looking out for him, theres a knock on the door. “that’s the pizza,” he pipes, standing up, “i’ve got it.” he exits the room quickly and retrieves the pizza, paying the young pizza boy and setting the pizza on the table. he takes two seconds to check that knox is still in his room before quietly pulling open the door and retreating down the steps to the parking lot.
river laughed at the other boys words, adjusting the ice on his hand. “ I am not pretentious I am a deep and tortured soul, crushed by the one I cared for obviously.” he joked sending a smirk to the blonde. “I don’t know man I just feel like if you respect someone you should tell them you know?” he leaned back into the couch, his body relaxing. “but then again maybe you’re right and I am being pretentious.”
“i’m always right, you’ll learn this. you are just being pretentious.” nothing they were talking about was particularly funny, but they were both smiling and chuckling, it was almost unnerving, “no, but seriously, guys suck, just dont get involved, ever, that’s my motto. you can borrow it.”
“you have, multiple times.” he mused ending a teasing look to lennox. “I think you actually said that to me the first time we met.”
“well, you were! you actually thought i was going to sell you a drink without an i.d. fucking persistent bastard.”
he chuckled at his comment, shaking his head softly. “ yeah I’m good honestly. knox and I have only been dating for a few months so it’s not like we were soulmates or some shit like that. I just wish he would have told me he felt something for lennox rather than cheating on me you know?” he shrugged sighing softly to himself. “ I don’t really do the whole relationship thing so I guess it’s just a sign that I’m not meant for them.”
“god, could you be anymore cliche? one bad relationship and you’re scorned for life? granted, i dont ‘do the relationship thing’ either, but shit, im not so fucking morose about it. it’s a guy, he’s not just going to tell you something he knows is going to hurt you. oh, god, he kept something from you, oh god relationships are damned for life. don’t be so pretentious.” he says all of this lightheartedly, with no heat behind it. he’s kind of laughing as he says it, not that he finds the situation funny, just that he finds the tough looking guys attitude amusing.
“alright fine I’ll just stay here then, I’ll order pizza or something.” he shrugged, ignoring lennox’s harsh words. he sat on the bed next to him, bringing out his phone to look up pizza places near them.
lennox sighs, leaning more comfortably back and lighting another cigarette. “anyone ever tell you you’re extremely fucking obnoxious?”
paxton, he liked how that sounded. he walked in the small apartment feeling a little out of place in the new space. he did what the boy told him to do, shrugging of his jacket and sitting on the older couch. when he came back it took him a little off guard when he grabbed his hand, though the ice did make the throbbing in his hand dull just the slightest. “ uh well I was dating this guy and he decided to cheat on me with lennox but I gave him a black eye so I think we are even now.” he chuckled, scrunching up his nose playfully.
“shit, that fucking sucks.” he said, stating the obvious. he’s met lennox a few times in passing, but that really does sounds like something he would do. when river scrunched his nose, pax had to resist the urge to just reach out and poke it. this guy was grossly attractive and, so far seemed nice. despite the face punching but, paxton wont deny thats necessary at some points. he interrupts his inner monologue to make himself present in the conversation again. “are you okay? i mean, obviously not like, you hand, but like emotionally?”
“you’re lying to me and I’m not leaving you alone so come on.” he paused moving closer to, grabbing a hold of his hand trying to pull him up. “it’s just a friend hanging out with another friend, please?” he was desperate to get lennox out of the house. it was obvious he hadn’t eaten in awhile and knox feared the worst if he was left alone.
he pulls his hand away, not too forcefully, still keeping his place on the bed. “thanks for your concern, knox, but i don’t need a fucking babysitter.” he knew deep down why knox was so adamant about leaving him, but he wasn’t easily going to give up easily. “seriously, i’m not going to do anything stupid, you can go get a damn burger.”
